Solef® 9009 PVDF homopolymer is a semi-crysalline fluoropolymer. Solef® film is chemically inert to most acids, aliphatic and aromatic organic compounds, chlorinated solvents and alcohols. Solef® PVDF flim has a very high purity, abrasion resistance comparable to that of polyamides and relatively low coefficient of friction. These films can be used in a wide range of temperatures and have excellent intrinsic fire resistance. Solef® PVDF films have demonstrated excellent weathering properties and are extremely resistant to UV radiation and common industrial and environmental pollutants. Solef® PVDF films can be used in a wide range of applications, including release films, filters, chemical resistance lining, outdoor UV resistant needs as well as electric and electronic applications.

Fluorolink® A10-P is a dialkyl amide PFPE derivative. It is especially designed for use as a polymer additive and can be compounded with thermoplastic and elastomeric materials to provide: • Low coefficient of friction (no stick-slip effect, noise reduction, anti-squeak properties) • Improved wear and abrasion resistance (leading to an extended working life) • Better chemical resistance • Water/oil and stain repellency • Improved surface smoothness and gloss All these benefits can be obtained without changing the bulk properties of the host material such as mechanical properties, color, etc. The addition of about 0.5 – 5 % w/w of Fluorolink® A10-P has demonstrated to enhance all surface properties of host materials such as: • Engineering thermoplastics (PolyAmides, PolyOxymethylene, PolyEsthers, Polyolefins and others) • Elastomers (EPDM, NBR, HNBR, Polyurethane based elastomers and others) • Thermoplastic elastomers (Styrenics, Polyurethane based TPE, Copolyesters, Polyolefin Blends (TPO), Dinamically Vulcanized Polyolefin alloys (TPV, TPSiV), polyamide block copolymer) Fluorolink® A10-P is usually used: • In thermoplastic parts subjected to wear such as gears, sliding-chain conveyors • In sealing systems like door seals to reduce stick-slip and noise emission • In portable and wearable devices (such as watch bands, protective smartphone cases, cable jackets, camera grips, soft-touch overmolding and others) to improve cleanability and removal of stains as well as develop soft touch feeling • In rubber rolls to reduce friction • In fibers to reduce the CoF and improve the water repellency and soil release, etc.

Based on proprietary technology, Syensqo has developed a line of patented PFPE additives to improve the performance of Fomblin® oils and greases. Fomblin® DA series are derived directly from Fomblin® PFPE's production process and contain functional groups. Fomblin® DA410 is functionalized fluorinated product used as additive in perfluorinated grease to improve the performance at high temperature in presence of metals. The physical properties of greases additivated with DA410 remain practically unchanged compared to those of the non-additivated greases; volatility may increase slightly, depending on the base fluid, and oil separation may decrease. Depending on the base fluid, these greases can be used at temperatures to 250°C.
Fomblin® DA305 Afrika und Mittlerer Osten
Fomblin® DA305 is the optimum product for use with greases. Solutions of Fomblin® PFPE lubricants formulated with 5% (wt.) of DA305 are clear and stable in storage for over 1 year. These blends can be used in exactly the same manner as non-additivated Fomblin® lubricants for the production of greases. The physical properties of greases additivated with DA305 remain practically unchanged compared to those of the non-additivated greases; volatility may increase slightly, depending on the base fluid, and oil separation may decrease. Depending on the base fluid, these greases can be used at temperatures ranging from -70 to 250 °C.
Fomblin® DA306/VAC Afrika und Mittlerer Osten
Fomblin® DA306/VAC is primarily recommended for formulations with Fomblin® Y-LVAC fluids. Solutions of Fomblin® lubricants additivated with 5% (wt.) of DA306/VAC are clear and stable in storage for over 1 year. It imparts antirust properties without significantly affecting the volatility and the viscosity of the original fluid, the typical physical properties remaining unchanged. The additive does not significantly affect either the ultimate pressure or the back-migration rate. Fluids additivated with DA306/VAC can be used at temperatures ranging from -70 to 250 °C.
