RTV-2 P-592

Generic Family: Silicone Rubber, RTV-2Supplied by: Silicones, Inc.
P-592 is a translucent, addition cure silicone designed to be used to make molds where visual inspection is required. The combination of physical integrity and high hardness make it an excellent choice for prototyping. Due to its flexibility and ease in releasing, it performs well with expandable foam systems, maintaining its shape and detail for multiple castings. P-592 may have its cure inhibited at the interface between the mold and the master. Organo-tin compounds, sulfur and some nitrogen containing compounds can cause the inhibition.
