AvaSpire® AV-481 is an unreinforced PAEK (polyaryletherketone) that offers improved ductility and impact strength relative to PEEK while offering similar or superior melt processability to high melt flow PEEK that is available on the market. Chemical resistance and environmental stress cracking resistance of AV-481 are also on par with that of unreinforced PEEK. This product has been specifically formulated for applications requiring an excellent balance of chemical resistance and mechanical toughness along with very high melt flow characteristics to allow filling of very thin and long flow length parts like cable ties. The heat resistance of this grade is also quite high with a heat distortion temperature in excess of 200°C and very good long term oxidative stability at elevated temperatures. This combination of properties makes AV-481 well-suited for applications in automotive, aerospace, electrical/electronics, and other industrial uses. AvaSpire® AV-481 is an injection molding grade and can be easily processed by typical injection molding methods using standard equipment. The material is available in beige (AV-481 BG15). Because the material is naturally lighter in color than typical PEEK resin, AV-481 provides greater versatility in its ability to be colored. - Beige: AV-481 BG 15

AV-622 has been formulated for applications requiring a balance of chemical resistance and mechanical strength along with good part aesthetics and high purity, thereby bridging the performance gaps within the ultra polymers space. These and other properties make this resin well-suited for applications in semiconductor, electronics, and other industries. AvaSpire® AV-622 is easily fabricated using conventional thermoplastic melt processing techniques and standard equipment. AV-755 SL45 is a wear resistant grade of AvaSpire® polyaryletherketone (PAEK) designed to provide low wear rates and high pressure-velocity (PV) tolerance in lubricated wear environments. Like the other members of the AvaSpire® AV-700 series, AV-755 SL45 offers more attractive economics than PEEK while retaining most of PEEK's key attributes. In addition to the outstanding wear resistance, the resin also offers the outstanding combination of chemical resistance, mechanical strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures, as well as long-term and high temperature thermal-oxidative stability. AV-755 SL45 is formulated with a binary anti-friction/anti-wear additive system comprised of carbon fiber and graphite. By virtue of its additive system, this resin also offers, exceptionally high stiffness and very low moisture absorption. Potential applications for AV-755 SL45 include bushings, bearings, wear strips, wear rings, rollers, and other parts used in sliding friction components. This high flow (low viscosity) resin is black.

KetaSpire® KT-810 is an ultra-high molecular weight natural PEEK resin having a melt viscosity ranging from 0.51-0.65 kPa-s as compared to 0.38-0.50 kPa-s for standard high-viscosity PEEK grades such as KT-820. KetaSpire PEEK is produced to the highest industry standards and is characterized by a distinct combination of properties, which include excellent chemical resistance to organics, acids and bases; exceptional retention of mechanical properties up to 240°C (464°F); best-in-class fatigue resistance; excellent wear resistance; ease of melt processing; and high purity. The KT-810 grade achieves a greater level of mechanical toughness than previously possible with PEEK, yet it is still processable by conventional methods including extrusion, injection molding, and compression molding. KetaSpire® KT-810 is particularly suited for compression molding applications such as machined parts and stock shapes wherein the inherent slow cooling rates of the process limit PEEK's toughness and often result in brittleness due to the higher crystallinity levels. The grade is available in two forms: fine powder with average particle size of approximately 50 micrometers (µm) for compression molding, and pellet form for extrusion and injection molding. KetaSpire® KT-820 SL30 is a polyetheretherketone (PEEK) compound designed to provide a balance of excellent mechanical properties, wear resistance and low coefficient of friction in both dry and externally lubricated applications. The resin is formulated with a ternary anti-friction/anti-wear additive system comprised of carbon fiber, graphite, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). KetaSpire® PEEK is produced to the highest industry standards and is characterized by a distinct combination of properties, which include excellent wear resistance, best-in-class fatigue resistance, ease of melt processing, high purity, and excellent chemical resistance to organics, acids, and bases. These properties make it well-suited for applications in transportation, electronics, chemical processing, and industrial uses including oil and gas exploration and production. The resin is black in color in its natural state.
