BASF Polyamide 6-based black powder for Laser Sintering with 50 % glass-bead filling

All Ultrasint PA6 grades have in common that they show high modulus, high strength and excellent thermal distortion stability. These properties ensure precise feature control, very good mechanical properties and simple surface reprocessing of 3D printed parts, in particular for complex shapes of structures.
Ultrasint PA6 GB X055 contains 50% glass beads, added to the powder in a dry blending process. Through this reinforcement, tensile and flexural modulus are increased by up to 80% in x and z directions compared to unfilled material. HDT is also significantly increased, while most other mechanical properties are similar to unfilled material.
Ultrasint PA6 GB X055 therefore lends itself in particular for applications where high stiffness is the most important part property.
