AuroraGuard™ FFD0050 Afrika und Mittlerer Osten
EnFoam® FFD0050 is a high temperature styrenic masterbatch of an endothermic chemical nucleating and blowing agent for the creation of a fine foam structure in thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion applications. The blowing agent is provided in a pellet form which improves foaming performance, eases material handling and extends shelf life. This product is recommended for use in engineering thermoplastics such as Nylon, PC and TPO. DOKI® POLISTIREN VM 40902 AF-N is elastomer modified, milky white, high impact fire retardant polystyrene intended for injection moulding. Owing to its high melt flow properties, DOKI® POLISTIREN VM 40902 AF-N fully fills up mould cavities and is therefore suitable for manufacture of sizeable moulded products.

Kareline® PSMS6040 Europa
The matrix plastic of Kareline® PSMS is polystyrene. The fibre used is ECF bleached long fibre Nordic soft wood pulp (cellulose). The fibre content of Kareline® PSMS composites is normally 10-20 weight% (Kareline® PSMS9010, Kareline® PSMS8020). Customer tailor-made grades, e.g. with higher fibre content, are available. Kareline® PSMS gives a very beautiful natural appearance to products in applications where no absolute mechanical properties are needed but where excellent surface quality and fascinating outlook are a desired property e.g. packaging of cosmetics or jewellery. Material has also very good dimensional stability in moulding and as a product. PS is the brand name for Polycasa's extruded Crystal Polystyrene sheets, offering solutions for many indoor applications. As well as clear, anti-reflex and standard opal white, a variety of colours and designs are also available as a result of the extrusion process Polycasa can offer. CHARACTERISTICS - Good optical properties and a brilliant surface. - High light transmission (min 88% wavelength: 500 nm, thickness 3 mm). - Low price. - Low density (1.05). - Good chemical resistance and high rigidity. - UV-stabilised - remains colour constant for many years when used indoors. (On special request Polycasa PS sheets can be produced without UV-stabilisation. They then meet all current food contact legislation and can be used in contact with foodstuffs.) - Possibility of corona treatment - process to increase surface tension. (The result after corona treatment is a surface that is unchanged to the naked eye, but in fact is much more receptive to inks, coatings, and adhesives.) PrimeCast® 101 Afrika und Mittlerer Osten
PrimeCast 101, a grey powder on polystyrene basis, is suited especially for investment casting due to its excellent dimensional accuracy and its low melting point. Laser-sintered parts made from PrimeCast 101 possess excellent material properties: - excellent dimensional accuracy - very high surface quality - good strength for use as lost pattern The typical application for PrimeCast 101 is the production of lost patterns for the plaster and ceramic shell casting process. The material is optimised for minimum residue ash content after burning-out. Another application for PrimeCast 101 is the production of master patterns for vacuum casting, herby it is advised to infiltrate the parts with e.g. epoxy resin.

WINDFORM® PS Asien Pazifik
Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® PS is a new polystyrene based material, developed specifically to produce complex investment casting patterns. The sintered patterns are ideal for conventional wax infiltration, and become easy to handle and finish. Windform® PS patterns are designed to work within regular rapid casting procedures, including autoclave and flash firing steps, low-temperature furnaces and vacuum plaster casting methods. Improved properties, compared to other polystyrene materials already available on the market, and that make the difference, are: - Improved surface quality and fine feature preservation - Reduced "curling" effect on the first layers - Very low ash content, therefore well suited for highly reactive alloys, such as Titanium, Aluminium, Magnesium, Steel and Nickel based alloys. Applications: - Complex investment casting patterns - Casting with highly reactive alloys, as well as conventional cast alloys The casting structure is formed from an aggregate of grains or polyhedral crystallites which produce isotropic compensation: it is obvious that isotropy has great advantages, for instance, FEM calculations are very close to the real behaviour of the part. Moreover, Rapid Casting with laser sintered patterns allows complete design freedom (no support structures are needed): thus reducing undercut and tool path problems during CNC machining. It's therefore possible to create the product along its mechanical stress axes, and to obtain a perfect reproduction of all details of the RP pattern, with tolerances and surface finishing of a very high quality (such as fully machined parts).
