TIVAR® 1000 Electrically Conductive (EC) Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE shapes provide improved protection against electrical charge build-up, by offering increased conductivity to quickly move the charge away from the application environment. In addition to these characteristics, TIVAR® EC UHMW-PE components exhibit excellent abrasion resistance, superior impact strength, zero moisture absorption, outstanding corrosion resistance, and a low coefficient of friction. For these reasons, this self-lubricating grade is often a favored solution for assembly conveyor components, bearings, chain guides, chute liners, guide rails, transfer plates, and wear strips.
