EDF-125D is a certified prime grade 5 % VINYL ACETATE-ETHYLENE copolymer designed for BLOWN FILM applications requiring excellent toughness and strength properties. EDF-125D contains Extra High levels of slip and antiblock additives. EDF-125D exhibits high strength, exceptional low temperature impact resistance and outstanding sealability. EDF-240 primary film application is for flexible packaging and coextruded heat seal layers. EDF-125D contains medium slip and high antiblock. EDF-125D complies with FDA regulation 21CFR 177.1350 (a) + (b) concerning Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate copolymers use in contact with food articles, subject to restrictions: 1) may not be used for contact with food containing more than 0.5% alcohol, and: 2) may not be used in materials for food packaging exceeding 10 mils (250 µ) thickness.
