Solef® Latex 2060 is an aqueous dispersion that contains approximately 21% by weight of a high molecular weight PVDF polymer (polyvinylidene fluoride) of high crystallinity. The dispersion is stable against coagulation by conventional means.

Solef® Latex 2060 is useful for applications such as water-based impregnation of separators in Li-Ion batteries and energy storage devices.

The main properties of Solef® Latex 2060 are:
  • Good adhesion to separator and to ceramics
  • Low swelling in hot electrolyte
  • Good wettability by electrolyte
  • Good flexibility
  • Good lamination to electrodes
