Retpol 9028 HS AS is a high flow flame retardant, talc reinforced homopolymer polypropylene compound. It has been developed to meet the requirements of UL 94 V-2 flammability rating and the AS/NZS 60695.2.12 requirement for 960°C glow-wire. The talc filler reduces shrinkage and imparts higher rigidity to moulded components. The flame retardant system is based on halogenated hydrocarbons with antimony trioxide synergist. It has been stabilized to meet heat aging requirements of 21 days at 150°C and contains an antistat.
