Retpol PDR 9040 is a flame retardant polypropylene copolymer masterbatch compound formulated to be let down at a ratio of 1:5 in straight polypropylene copolymer. The resulting blend should then meet the requirements of UL 94 V-2 and AS/NZS 60695.2.12 glow wire at 960°C. The flame retardant system is based on halogenated hydrocarbon compounds with an antimony trioxide synergist.
