Nylatron® 101 Polyamide PA66 FG (Food Grade) / Ertalon® 66 SA Polyamide PA66 FG (Food Grade) unmodified shapes are characterized by their superior combination of strength and toughness. Compared to other unmodified nylon grades, Nylatron® 101 PA66 / Ertalon® 66 SA PA66 components possess superior mechanical strength, stiffness, wear resistance, in addition to displaying one of the highest melting points of all PA66 materials. Due to these properties, and this grade’s FDA (21 CFR § 177.1500) and EU 10/2011 food compliancy, Nylatron® 101 PA66 FG / Ertalon® 66 SA PA66 FG is often specified for screw machined electrical insulators, bushings, bearings, gears, roller wheels, star wheels, and seals.
