Osterlene® LL5225
- LL5225 is an butene copolymer injection molding resin. It has excellent processability, cold temperature impact resistance and ESCR properties. It has outstanding flexibility and warpage resistance, good organoleptic properties and natural color as well as high surface gloss.
- Applications for LL5225 include thin wall lids for frozen food packaging (ice cream containers and whipped dairy), caps and closures, tamper evident, and dairy applications. It is also good for compounding applications.
- LL5225 has processing antioxidant.
- Osterlene LL5225 meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, 21 CFR Section 177.1520 (c) 3.1a. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in “...articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food.” Specific limitations may apply.
