Selenis Selcare HC 500 is an amorphous copolyester specifically developed for film extrusion for rigid medical packaging, flexible medical device packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards to meet the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry.

Selenis Selcare HC 500 has been evaluated, and is offered with, the industry specific regulatory declarations ISO 10993-1 (2017), USP ‘Class VI’, USP<661.1>. Additionally, this resin supports ISO 11607 for sterile barrier packaging.

Our copolyester grade is the ideal solution when exceptional clarity, surface gloss, and neutral colour are required. Selenis Selcare HC 500 is proposed when an excellent performance and outstanding toughness are essential, such as ultimate impact strength at low temperatures and good chemical resistance.

Selenis Selcare HC 500 can be sterilized with ethylene oxide, and by e-beam /gamma radiation with a standard dose of 25kGy.

The resin is easy to process on standard extrusion lines and is free of intentionally added BPA.
