TIVAR H.O.T (Higher Operating Temperature) Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE shapes, are formulated to maintain key performance properties in an extended temperature range. For this reason, this TIVAR grade excels in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments where temperatures reach up to 230°F / 110°C. TIVAR H.O.T. UHMW-PE components are FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 and 3-A Dairy Sanitation compliant, making them the ideal, longer life material for wear parts in dairy, bakery, poultry/meat and other food processing industries where higher temperatures or frequent chemical wash downs shorten part life.
