Acti-Tech compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process. Acti-Tech compatibilizer 04MA13 is the stiffest grade of the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range. With its high crystallinity and high softening point, it is designed to enhance performance of a wide variety of reinforced polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications: - Coupling agent for glass-fiber or carbon-fiber reinforced PP - Compatibilizer for polar/unpolar polymers alloys

Acti-Tech compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process. Acti-Tech compatibilizer 08MA18 is the most fluid grade of the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range. With its very high content of maleic anhydride and high MFR, it is designed to enhance filler wetting of a wide variety of polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications: - Coupling agent for WPC or NFC - High filler loading compounds - Adhesion promoter for non-woven or fabrics - Melt impregnation

Acti-Tech™ compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process. Acti-Tech compatibilizer 09MA13 is a highly versatile grade with average MFR among the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range. It is designed to enhance performance of a wide variety of polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications: - Compounding formulation - Adhesion promoter on metal or other polar substrates - Soft compatibilizer for polar/unpolar polymers alloys - Impact modifier of stiff polar engineering plastics - Coupling agent for WPC, natural fiber or mineral HFFR fillers Due to the chemical nature of its polymer backbone, Acti-Tech compatibilizer 09MA13 is compatible with most polyolefins, i.e. PE, PP, EVA, EBA or POE.

Acti-Tech compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process. Acti-Tech compatibilizer 09MA18 has the highest maleic anhydride content among the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range. It is designed to provide a very high coupling efficiency to enhance performance of a wide variety of polymer compounds requiring high functionality and is particularly recommended for the following applications: - Compatibilizer for PA/PP or PET/PP compounds - Performance booster for recycled feeds - Adhesion promoter for special applications
Acti-Tech™ 11MA13 Europe
Acti-Tech compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process. Acti-Tech compatibilizer 11MA13 is a medium flexibility, low MFR grade among the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range. With its high viscosity, it is designed to enhance performance of a wide variety of polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications: - Tie-layer material for film & sheet - Adhesion promoter on metal, yarns or other polar substrates - Soft compatibilizer for polar/unpolar polymers alloys - Impact modifier of stiff polar engineering plastics Due to the chemical nature of its polymer backbone, Acti-Tech compatibilizer 11MA13 is compatible with most polyolefins, i.e. PE, PP, EVA, EBA or POE.

Acti-Tech compatibilizers are based on Vistamaxx™ performance polymers grafted with maleic anhydride through a highly efficient melt-grafting process. Acti-Tech compatibilizer 16MA13 is the softest grade among the Acti-Tech compatibilizers range. With its high elasticity and very high flexibility, it is designed to enhance performance of a wide variety of polymer compounds and is particularly recommended for the following applications: - Impact modifier of engineering thermoplastics - Performance booster for recycled feeds - Coupling agent for mineral HFFR fillers This material can be used in combination with Vistamaxx performance polymer to bring the required balance of properties to PP/PET or PE/PET recycled feeds.
RETAIN™ 3000 Africa & Middle East
RETAIN™ 3000 is a functional polymer which promotes compatibilization between polyolefins and polar polymers such as ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) and polyamide (Nylon) and blends of polar polymers. RETAIN™ 3000 is a unique technology designed to effectively compatibilize polar and non-polar polymeric components typically found in recycle streams. This compatibilizer was developed using Dow's expertise in material science and reactive chemistry to compatibilize two otherwise immiscible materials while maintaining critical physical properties. Composition - Ultra High% By Weight Maleic Anhydride - Graft levels are defined as: - Low < 0.2%; Medium 0.2-0.5%; High 0.5-1.0%; Ultra high > 1.0% Features - Pellets are dusted with an anti-massing agent. Characteristics / Benefits - Good compatibilization between polyolefins and polar polymers - Wide range of process and service temperature - For blown and cast film - May be used in-line or pre-compounded - RETAIN™ 3000 disperses polar polymers into the polyolefin matrix and decreases the size of polar domains which results in lower haze. This applies for both polyethylene and polypropylene dominant streams. Applications - RETAIN™ 3000 is most specifically designed to compatibilize polyamide (nylon) and ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) into a continuous polyethylene matrix. - These polymers achieve their functionality by reacting with the polar polymers and then efficiently dispersing them into the polyethylene majority matrix. - Due to the complex nature of a recycle stream, the typical properties reflect those found in select instances but serve as a guide for anticipated properties while recognizing that the reprocessing equipment selected will define the ultimate utility of the compatibilizer. Additionally, the level of recycle compatibilizer needed to achieve maximum physical properties is dependent on the amount and type of polar polymer present in the recycle stream.
