UNITAL® Acetal (polyoxy-methylene) offers design engineers a superior blend of strength, stiffness, lubricity, and dimensional stability. These properties, along with inherent machining ease, have made UNITAL one of the most widely used engineering grade thermoplastics. To meet specific application configurations and to maximize production efficiencies, Nytef Plastics offers a broad array of UNITAL Acetal stock shapes. These materials include both homopolymer (DELRIN®) and copolymer unfilled grades as well as PTFE-filled grades for enhanced wear resistance. Nytef also offers an electrically conductive grade of UNITAL Acetal that is used in the microelectronics industry to dissipate static electric charges. Base resin: Acetal Black Copolymer - FDA Compliant material available

UNITAL® LZ Europe
UNITAL LZ and UNITAL LZU are copolymer acetal materials capable of being permanently marked utilizing standard industrial lasers. UNITAL LZ is standard copolymer acetal, while UNITAL LZU is a UV stabilized formulation designed for use where significant or prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light, either natural sunlight or artificial lighting, is anticipated. Component parts machined from either product can be marked by laser with company logo's, part numbers, serial numbers, barcodes or other two dimensional designs. UNITAL LZ and UNITAL LZU are available in rod or sheet form and are black in color, with laser marked characters and designs appearing white in color.

UNITAL® SFX-0102M Europe
UNITAL SFX-0102M extruded thermoplastic shapes provide users with the strength and dimensional stability inherent in POM-based resins as well as enhanced stiffness provided by the addition of a metallic filler. UNITAL SFX-0102M shapes offer low extractables for applications requiring FDA compliance and are especially well suited for metal detection in food processing applications. UNITAL SFX-0102M is available in multiple rod and plate configurations by special order. Minimums order quantities may apply due to the highly specialized nature of product applications, dependent on configuration.
