This material exhibits a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent toughness and impact resistance. It is well suited for industrial, automotive, and sporting goods applications where strength and toughness are critical as well as ease of processing. Alternate tape widths and thicknesses may be available.

This product is intended to be used at levels from 6% to 40% in combination with neat or filled PA66 to achieve the desired level of electrostatic dissipation (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI)/ radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding. The resulting formulation will yield stainless steel levels of 3% to 20%. 'Long Stainless Fiber' materials have a significant advantage over short stainless fiber filled plastics. Conductivity properties increase by nearly 100 times when comparing to similar loadings.
