Product Availability Product Description
VESTAMID® NRG 1001 Europe
VESTAMID® NRG 1001 NC is a high-viscosity, plasticized and impact-modified PA 12 compound with heat and light stabilizers for the extrusion of flexible tubing and hoses especially for oil and petrochemical applications. VESTAMID® NRG 1001 NC is characterized by easy processing and good dimensional control during pipe extrusion, especially when processing large pipe diameters. Properties of compounds based on polyamide 12 vary little with changing humidity due to low moisture absorption. Parts made of the described semi-crystalline material are characterized by exceptional impact strength, low coefficient of sliding friction and good chemical resistance.

VESTAMID® NRG 2101 YE Europe
VESTAMID® NRG 2101 yellow is a high molecular grade PA 12 material developed by Evonik. Its superior performance characteristics make it an ideal choice for expanding the use of thermoplastic piping systems at higher operating pressures and larger diameters to replace metallic piping systems in a safe and cost effective manner. Besides extending the operating pressure limits of thermoplastic piping systems, VESTAMID® NRG 2101 yellow offers many of the same benefits, and in most instances more superior performance, as conventional PE piping systems. - Tough and durable - Corrosion resistant - Resistant to heavy hydrocarbons - High resistance to Slow Crack Growth and Rapid Crack Propagation - Increased installation efficiencies - Worry free performance These characteristics make the VESTAMID® NRG 2101 yellow material an ideal choice when selecting appropriate thermoplastic piping materials in extending your gas distribution infrastructure.
VESTAMID® NRG 2901 BK Europe
For Gas pipes Fittings VESTAMID® NRG 2901 BK is a high viscosity, heat stabilized compound with exceptional mold release properties. Additionally VESTAMID® NRG 2901 BK is nucleated to reduce the cycle time and shrinkage of molded parts. Generally mechanical properties of compounds based on PA 12 vary little with changing humidity due to their low moisture absorption. Parts made of this semi-crystalline material are characterized by exceptional impact strength, high abrasion resistance, low friction and good chemical resistance.
VESTAMID® NRG 3001 Europe
VESTAMID® NRG 3001 is a polyamide 12 compound developed for the manufacturing of hydrocarbon transport piping systems and liners. VESTAMID® NRG 3001 is characterized by easy processing and excellent dimensional control during pipe extrusion, especially by processing of large diameter pipes. The material has an excellent compatibility against hydrocarbons (i.e. crude oil) and oilfield chemicals (i.e. paraffin inhibitors) resulting in high dimensional stability and unaffected properties of parts in contact with those.

VESTAMID® NRG 4101 YE Europe
For Steel Pipe Protection (Encasement) VESTAMID® NRG 4101 offers a flexible, mechanically tough encasement system that combines the advantages of polyethylene coating and cement mortar casing. Uses of VESTAMID® NRG Products: The important advantages of VESTAMID® NRG 4101 as an encasement material are: - unusually high impact resistance and toughness, even at low temperatures - excellent stress cracking resistance - excellent wear resistance - low sliding friction coefficient Product characteristics compared with other encasement materials: VESTAMID® NRG 4101 yellow has higher Shore hardness than polyethylene or polypropylene. In contrast to polyethylene or propylene encasement, therefore, the polyamide encasement offers, apart from the corrosion protection provided by the barrier effect, also mechanical protection for the encased steel pipe. Application areas for the new encasement material are found in non-conventional installation technologies such as: - horizontal directional drilling - the soil displacement method with non-steered displacement hammers - dynamic ramming - plow technology
