VESTAMID® E EX9350 black E70293 Europe
VESTAMID® EX9350 BK E70293 is a PA 612 elastomer extrusion compound developed for the manufacturing of tubing systems, e.g. vacuum brake booster lines. The compound is in particular suitable for applications, that require a continuous high flexibility even if subjected to high temperature load. In contrast to conventionally plasticized materials (plasticizerloss) tubes made from VESTAMID® EX9350 BK E70293 do not stiffen under elevated temperatures. In comparison with PA 11 and PA 12 compounds the increased melting point allows for increased peak temperatures in use. The compound is especially suitable for the extrusion of tubing systems that are exposed to increased burst pressures and service temperatures. Pigmentation may affect values.

The VESTAMID® E series represent thermoplastic elastomers generically characterized as polyether block copolyamides (PEBA) consisting of PA 12 and polyether segments. Characteristic properties of VESTAMID® EX9200 are: - Excellent toughness and flexibility even at low temperatures - Absence of plasticizers and therefore no plasticizer migration - Low density - Good chemical resistance - High dimensional stability and constant physical properties at changing environmental humidity due to low moisture absorption Compared with chemically cross-linked elastomers VESTAMID® EX9200 offers the more economically thermoplastic processing. VESTAMID® EX9203 BK E70365 is a medium viscosity, heat-stabilized polyamide 12 and is prepared with an efficient halogen-free flame retardant. VESTAMID® EX9203 BK E70365 has been developed especially for the extrusion of corrugated tubes and is distinguished by the following characteristics: - high impact strength and flexibility, also at low temperatures, especially good flexural fatigue behavior - softening by non-migrating polyamide elastomer - good dimensional stability and constant mechanical properties at changing ambient humidity due to low water absorption of polyamide 12 - good chemical resistance - good ageing stability Pigmentation may affect values.
