EOS Alumide® Africa & Middle East
Alumide is a metallic grey, aluminium-filled polyamide 12 powder, which is characterised by its high stiffness, metallic appearance and good postprocessing possibilities. Laser-sintered parts made from Alumide possess excellent material properties: - excellent dimensional accuracy - well-balanced ratio of density and stiffness - increased thermal conductivity - good machinability The surfaces of Alumide parts can be refined very easily by grinding, polishing or coating. The machining of Alumide laser-sintered parts is simplified through the cut breaking effect of the aluminium filling. A typical application for Alumide is the manufacture of stiff parts of metallic appearance for applications in automotive manufacture (e.g. wind tunnel tests or parts that are not safety-relevant), for tool inserts for injecting and moulding small production runs, for illustrative models (metallic appearance), for education and jig manufacture et al.
EOS CarbonMide® Africa & Middle East
The anthracite black, carbon-fibre filled polyamide 12 material stands out for excellent stiffness and a maximised weight-strength-ratio. Laser-sintered parts made from CarbonMide possess excellent material properties: - extreme stiffness - excellent strength and hardness - light weight - electric conductivity Due to the process related orientation of the fibres the mechanical properties varies in the three axis directions. Typical applications of the material are mechanically stressed parts which are optimised considering the self-weight of the part. Surface finished CarbonMide laser-sinter parts are suited for e.g. usage as aerodynamic components in motor sports application.
EOS PA 1101 Africa & Middle East
PA 1101 is a whitish polyamide 11 powder, which is optimised for the use as a laser sintering material. PA 1101 is made out of renewable raw materials (castor oil). The material is characterised by elasticity and high impact resistance. Properties - high elongation at break - elasticity - high impact resistance - excellent resistance to chemicals, especially hydrocarbons, aldehydes, ketones, mineral bases and salts, alcohols, fuels, detergents, oils and fats Acceptance criteria - cytotoxicity according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5 Typical applications - mechanically loaded functional prototypes and series parts with long-term moving elements (e.g. hinges) - in the automotive industry, it is mainly used for interior components for crash relevant parts (PA 1101 components do not splinter) - especially suited for small to medium sized parts, thin walls and lattice structures

This whitish fine powder PA 2200 on the basis of polyamide 12 serves with its very well-balanced property profile a wide variety of applications. Laser-sintered parts made from PA 2200 possess excellent material properties: - high strength and stiffness - good chemical resistance - excellent long-term constant behaviour - high selectivity and detail resolution - various finishing possibilities (e.g. metallisation, stove enamelling, vibratory grinding, tub colouring, bonding, powder coating, flocking) - bio compatible according to EN ISO 10993-1 and USP/level VI/121 °C - approved for food contact in compliance with the EU Plastics Directive 2002/72/EC (exception: high alcoholic foodstuff) Typical applications of the material are fully functional plastic parts of highest quality. It applies a layer thickness of 60 µm, which is approximately the thickness of a grain of the plastic powder normally used today. The typical stair-step effect on upward and downward-pointing geometry elements can practically no longer be seen on TopQuality parts. The mechanical attributes of TopQuality parts are satisfyingly close to the levels of Performance parts.

EOS PA 2201 Africa & Middle East
PA 2201, a whitish, a bit more translucent polyamide 12 powder, is in compliance with FDA, 21 CFR, §177.1500 9(b) except for alcoholic foodstuff. Apart from that PA 2201 and PA 2200 have identical material properties. EOS PA 2202 black Africa & Middle East
PA 2202 black is a pigment-filled polyamide 12 powder for manufacturing laser sintered parts that are black throughout. All other part properties are comparable to those of PA 2200. Typical applications for the material are fully functional parts in design quality subject to high mechanical or thermal loads. The parts are black and often look better in technical areas than white parts. As this colour is throughout, scratches or subsequent holes do not degrade the appearance. The parts are also less susceptible to soiling, as soiling is less conspicuous against the black background. The black colour can also be used to differentiate the parts from parts in other colours to prevent confusion.
EOS PA 2210 FR Africa & Middle East
Product information PA 2210 FR is a polyamide 12 for processing in laser sintering systems with a halogen free, chemical flame retardant. In case of fire a carbonating coating arises on the surface of the part, isolating the plastic below. Product information PA 2241 FR is a flame retardant polyamide 12 for processing in laser sintering systems. It contains a halogen-based flame retardant. Mainly due to its recyclability the material is economical, enabling low-cost part production. PA 3200 GF is a whitish, glass-filled polyamide 12 powder, which is characterised by an excellent stiffness in combination with good elongation at break. Laser-sintered parts made from PA 3200 GF possess excellent material properties: - high stiffness - high mechanical wear-resistance - good thermal loadability - excellent surface quality - high dimensional accuracy and detail resolution - good processability - excellent long-term constant behaviour A typical application for PA 3200 GF is the usage e.g. for final parts within the engine area of cars, for deep-drawing dies or any other application which requires particular stiffness, high heat distortion temperature and low abrasive wear.
