WINDFORM® FX Asia Pacific
Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® FX is a new generation polyamide based material, whose repeatability and mechanical characteristics make it particularly suited for Additive Manufacturing applications. White coloured, Windform® FX is characterized by: exceptional resistance and resilience to repeated bending and torsion applications; excellent impact resistance; consistency and behaviour similar to polypropylene and ABS injection moulded parts. Windform® FX is perfect for building accurate, reliable and long lasting prototypes; no further treatments are needed. The powder also benefits from extended recycling and lower refresh rates. Applications: Flexible components, functional parts with living hinges or clip fittings. In addition, ducts of a complex shape, with thin walls, particularly suited for aerospace and motorsport, dashboards and grids, fenders, fans and connectors. WINDFORM® GF 2.0 Asia Pacific
Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® GF 2.0 is the evolutionary substitute for Windform GF, our first generation material. Windform® GF 2.0 is a composite material made of polyamide filled with glass and aluminium, which presents an improvement in both the thermal and mechanical properties, and the aesthetics of the product. In terms of performance, Windform® GF 2.0 shows a significant improvement in the HDT (almost +8%), that is, the heat deflection temperature as well as an increase in the values of tensile strength and elongation strength, therefore offering greater ductility than the previous version, appreciable in various racing applications and functions subject to greater vibrations. Excellent mechanical properties per unit of density, thanks to its lighter weight. Windform® GF 2.0, furthermore, shows less moisture absorption than the other Windform products. On an aesthetic level, Windform® GF 2.0 maintains and enhances the light grey colour and glossy metallic appearance, appreciated in many design and wind tunnel applications, offering an even brighter look. Moreover, of great importance, is the improvement in detail reproduction, which makes Windform® GF 2.0 particularly suitable for applications which require accurate and superior surface definition and excellent reproduction of even the finest details. WINDFORM® GT Asia Pacific
Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® GT is a composite material based on polyamide fiber glass, deep and dark black colour. After hand finishing, the colour becomes shining and brighter. The Windform® GT is an absolute new product in the family of polyamide materials for the additive manufacturing not only aesthetically, but also in terms of performance, because it differs from the other Windform® powders thanks to its higher flexibility. Windform® GT combines optimal characteristics of elasticity and ductility and resistance, thus it can be considered a highly valuable material in various racing and functional applications affected to vibration and shocks. In fact, the material has meaningful values of impact strength and elongation at break, which combined with relevant values of tensile strength and flexural strength make it ideal for applications where resistance to "damage" is a prerequisite, in order to preserve the component, for example in case of impact and/or improper use. A further element of distinction from other materials Windform® is its characteristic of being a waterproof material, resistant to moisture and therefore to the absorption of liquids.Windform® GT is also a very light material with excellent mechanical properties per unit density. Applications: Automotive applications where a certain flexibility in the car and under hood (such as snap fit) is required. It is also suitable in motorsport, air ducts, intake and cooling systems, the hydraulic ducts in contact with liquids or oils, in protective cover for sensors and for all applications that need a good flexibility and resistance to damage (for example: racing components near the ground). Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® LX 2.0 has improved the already excellent performances of Windform® LX and this can be noticed from technical properties and sinterability point of view. Windform® LX 2.0 is a new polyamide based material reinforced with new generation glass fibre system. The properties of Windform® LX 2.0 make it particularly suited for functional applications and finished complex parts. Windform® LX 2.0 is a naturally black material and is characterised by improved Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS), increased stiffness as well as a high level of resistance to temperature, while providing an attractive surface finish. Windform® LX 2.0 also underlines its advantage towards Windform® GF, PRO and PRO B, with an excellent rate between quality and price. Windform® LX 2.0 is perfect to create functional prototypes or finished parts that require reliability, good temperature resistance and a captivating matt black colour. Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® SP is a composite polyamide based carbon filled material characterised by deep black colour. Windform® SP is a "Top" level material within the polyamide Windform® materials for additive manufacturing. Windform® SP has excellent mechanical properties similar to Windform XT 2.0. In addition it has the added advantage of increased resistance to shocks, vibrations and deformations. This material shows increases in impact strength and elongation at break. Moreover the Windform® SP retains its excellent thermal properties and resistance to high temperature. Windform® SP is a material with optimal mechanical characteristics per density units. Another important element of this material is represented by its waterproof properties and therefore its resistance to absorption of liquids and moisture. Applications: Windform® SP is the suitable material to create accurate and reliable prototypes and is perfect for functional applications in motorsports, automotive (suitable for example for components under the hood, such as intake manifolds), Air (components for UAV , Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and aerospace design, since it allows applications fully functional as well as dyno tests, track tests and development of pre-serie parts. Technology: Selective Laser Sintering Windform® XT 2.0 is the evolution of the ground breaking high performance Windform® XT, the carbon fiber reinforced composite material, known for its mechanical properties, which made it particularly suitable in demanding applications such as motorsport sector, aerospace and UAV's. Windform® XT 2.0 is an innovative material, and will replace the Windform® XT, as the "Top Level" of the current Windform® range. Windform® XT 2.0 improves mechanical properties compared to "traditional" Windform® XT, while maintaining the same workability for Laser Sintering machines in order to better fulfill the needs of Additive Manufacturing required to produce end use parts and prototypes.
