Jabil PA 0600 North America
Jabil’s PA 0600 filament is a polyamide/polyketone alloy with high stiffness, good wear resistance, low friction and self-lubricating characteristics. The high stiffness and selflubricating qualities make post-print machining, such as fly cuts, thread taps and heat stakes, simple and effective. Advantages Compared to other tribologically similar polymers such as POM and PVDF, which are commonly used for similar applications, PA 0600 releases no odors or toxic fumes during processing, exhibits low warp and has similar dynamic and static coefficient of friction. PA 0600 is an excellent materials choice for applications where high dimensional stability and lubricity are required.
Jabil PA 4000 NATURAL North America
A very durable nylon powder, PA 4000 has well-balanced material characteristics that are ideal for a wide variety of applications. The detail resolution, excellence surface finish, and 34% elongation at break point ensures this bright white material meets the needs of your product requirements. The chemical resistance and various finishing possibilities make PA 4000 ideal for open-sourced laser sintering 3D printers. Similar to a PA 12, PA 4000 should be selected for applications that require functional testing, low to midvolume production runs or prototyping. Even though this material should be processed in an inert environment, PA 4000 does not need to be dried which adds to the convenience of use. Some common applications include (but are not limited to): functional prototypes, complex geometries, low temperature duct work, caster housings (in additional to other housings and enclosures), and parts with snap-fit features. Advantages Excellent elongation and impact strength are key benefits of PA 4000. Powder flowability and wet out is exceptional, producing dense parts with an excellent surface finish. PA 4000 has a potential for high recyclability and displays color stability.
Jabil PA 4035 CF North America
PA 4035 CF is a carbon fiber PA12 copolymer which provides greater stiffness, strength and toughness over similar products on the market. The high carbon fiber loading provides superior tensile strength and modulus while the PA12 base promotes relatively high ductility and ease of handling. Special formulation and processing reduce filament breakage during loading and printing. PA 4035 CF prints on any open-source desktop filament 3D printer. PA 4035 CF is well suited for printing ducting in automotive and aerospace applications, casting patterns, composite tooling and prosthetics. For demanding applications within the aerospace and automotive industries, the filament provides high heat deflection temperatures. The dimensional stability also increases compared to standard nylon due to the additional of carbon fiber. In addition, PA 4035 CF increases stiffness and strength in load bearing orientations while showing less warping than standard nylon. Advantages PA 4035 CF is an extremely strong and stiff material which is great for products that require additional strength. - High strength, stiffness and toughness - Mechanical properties can be tailored by adjusting fill orientation - Superior printed part surface finish quality - Ease of handling filament during loading and printing - Surface resistivity of =E9 for ESD sensitive applications - Low print temperature enables the use on more machines
Jabil PA 4050 GB NATURAL North America
PA 4050 GB has well-balanced material characteristics that are ideal for applications that require durable, highquality parts. The detail resolution and excellent surface finish allow for solid-built parts. Multiple finishing possibilities make PA 4050 GB ideal for open-sourced laser sintering 3D printers. Similar to a PA 12 GB, PA 4050 GB should be selected for applications that require functional testing, durable prototyping, or low-volume builds. With increased dimensional stability, this material holds up to heavy-duty part requirements. Some common applications include (but are not limited to): functional prototypes, complex geometries, low temperature duct work, caster housings, and other housings and enclosures. Advantages Excellent impact strength, produces dense parts with an excellent surface finish, color stability, and relative isotropic performance.
Jabil PA 4500 North America
PA 4500 Filament is a low warp, neat nylon copolymer that has good lay flat/low warp properties, excellent appearance, strength in both XY and XZ directions, toughness, and can be printed at lower temps (240-260° C). Applications for this material include component production of less than 20,000 per year with complex geometries that require good wear properties and appearance but also strength and durability, such as slides, screen printing pallets, automation sleds, adaptors for fluid and materials handling, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), masking covers, die cast models and patterns, clips, covers, housings, and gears. Advantages Along with easier printability, PA 4500 filament also delivers better appearance, over 100% elongation at break and better overall strength compared to other commercial PA’s and products like PETg and PLA.
Jabil PA 4535 CF North America
PA 4535 CF is among the strongest PA6 co-polymer carbon fiber filaments available on the market, delivering increased strength and stiffness. Typical applications for PA 4535 CF are aluminum replacement parts, housings that require tight printing dimensional tolerances, clips, brackets, retainers, covers, in addition to jigs, fixtures, and tooling. Advantages PA 4535 CF has the highest carbon fiber loading available in the industry, providing 40% improvement in tensile strength, impact strength, Z strength and elongation at break, with the added benefit of being ESD safe. Additionally, the combination of carbon fiber in the already extremely low-warp nylon results in extraordinarily flat prints.
