ICORENE® N3012 Europe
ICORENE® N3012 is a powder version of polybutene -1 random copolymer with low ethylene content, specifically designed for use as a layer adhesive. ICORENE® N3025 is a powder version of polybutene -1 random copolymer with low ethylene content, specifically designed for use as a layer adhesive. The powder is free flowing and easy to distribute using a scatter coating machine. This grade can be used in various applications as a hot melt adhesive. For example carpet backing or tuft locking or non woven lamination. It features very good adhesion to PP and PE polymer substrates and very low viscosity to give good melt flow around the fibers enabling superior mechanical adhesion. Recycling of the finished PP carpet is possible due to the complete miscibility of the PB1 in PP polymer. MFR measured by ISO 1133-1 is 2500 g/10 minutes

Polybutene-1 grade Koattro DP 0400M is a semi-crystalline homopolymer, which can be used where creep, environmental stress crack resistance and elevated temperature performance are key requirements. This polymer is highly compatible with polypropylene due to its similar molecular structure. It is less compatible in blends with polyethylene but it is still easily dispersible. Its relative slow crystalliation kinetics allows for an excellent wetting behaviour. Besides its high shear sensitive flow behaviour it remains easily dispersible, also in even more incompatible polymers like thermoplastic elastomers.

Polybutene-1 grade Koattro PB M 1200M is a random copolymer of butene-1 with low ethylene content. Koattro PB M 1200M is primarily used as a blend component in hot melt adhesive (HMA) formulations and sealant compounds. In order to maintain mechanical integrity at higher temperatures (higher shear adhesion failure temperature or SAFT) of an HMA, it can be used in combination with a wide variety of non-polar resins and waxes. Koattro PB M 1200M helps to reduce the amount of resin needed in a HMA formulation.
Toppyl SP 2101 C Africa & Middle East
