COMPOUND PEBD PRETO (TC 9008) IS A LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE COMPOUND, WITH HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND MOLECULAR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION, SPECIALLY DEVELOPED TO WIRE & CABLE JACKETING. THIS GRADE SHOW GOOD EXTRUDABILITY, MECHANICAL RESISTANCE AND STRESS CRACKING. IT CONTAINS CARBON BLACK TO RESIST PHOTODEGRADATION AND HIGH UV ABSORPTION COEFFICIENT. ACCORDING TO ASTM D 1248:04, TC9008 IS IC-5 CLASSIFIED, E9 DEGREE, J4 E W4. CAS REGISTRY NUMBER: 9002-88-4. LDPE IS NOT A HYGROSCOPIC MATERIAL. HOWEVER, CARBON BLACK, WHICH IS USED AS AN ANTI-UV ADDITIVE, ABSORBS MOISTURE FROM THE ENVIRONMENT. THEREFORE, ALL HDPE CONTAINING CARBON BLACK IN ITS COMPOSITION MUST BE DRIED BEFORE USE. THE DRYING PROCESS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST FOR 2 HOURS AT 90°C. UNDER THESE CONDITIONS THE AMOUNT OF MOISTURE DECREASES TO VALUES THAT WILL NOT INTERFERE IN THE PROCESSABILITY OF THE RESIN. THE USE OF THIS RESIN WITHOUT PREVIOUS DRYING MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE FINISHED PRODUCT, SUCH AS BLISTERING AND/OR ROUGHNESS OF THE SURFACE.

THE COMP. LDPE-L BLACK-FC-HSF (TCL) IS A BLACK LINEAR LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE COMPOUND, ESPECIALLY DEVELOPED FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF WIRELESS COATING AND CABLES. PRESENTS EXCELLENT CHARACTERISTICS OF PROCESSING, MECHANICAL RESISTANCE AND RESISTANCE TO BREAK UNDER TENSION. TCL IS ADDITIVE WITH SMOKE BLACK, WHICH GUARANTEES RESISTANCE TO PHOTODEGRADATION WITH HIGH UV ABSORPTION COEFFICIENT. LDPE-L IS NOT A HYPROSCOPIC MATERIAL, HOWEVER, BLACK-SMOKE, USED IN ITS ANTI-UV ADDITIVATION, ABSORBES MOISTURE FROM THE ENVIRONMENT. THEREFORE, ALL PEBD-L CONTAINING SMOKE BLACK IN THEIR FORMULATION MUST GO THROUGH A DRYING PROCESS BEFORE USING IT. DRYING MUST BE MADE FOR MINIMUM 2 H AT A TEMPERATURE OF 90 ° C. IN THESE CONDITIONS THE HUMIDITY LEVEL ACHIEVES A VALUE THAT, NORMALLY, DOES NOT HARM THE PROCESSING OF THE MATERIAL. USE OF THIS RESIN WITHOUT PRIOR DRYING MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE FINAL PRODUCT, LIKE BUBBLES AND / OR SURFACE SURFACE. WE RECOMMEND THAT THE MATERIAL WILL BE CONSUMED BEFORE 365 DAYS AFTER THEIR MANUFACTURE. PROCESSING CONDITIONS RECOMMENDED FOR EXTRUSION: - TEMPERATURE PROFILE: 160 TO 230°C. THE BEST PROCESSING CONDITIONS MAY VARY ACCORDING TO THE TYPE OF EQUIPMENT USED AND SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE.
