TIVAR® ESD Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE / TIVAR® 1000 Antistatic Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE electro static dissipative, carbon-filled shapes protect against electrical charge build-up on wear surfaces. In addition to these characteristics, TIVAR® ESd UHMW-PE / TIVAR® 1000 Antistatic UHMW-PE components exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and zero moisture absorption in robotic and conveyor equipment parts that are especially sensitive to electrical charge build-up. For these reasons, this TIVAR® grade is often favored as a solution in chain guides, chute liners, guide rails, wear stripe, transfer plates, bearings, and assembly conveyor components.
TIVAR® H.O.T. Food Grade UHMW-PE Africa & Middle East
TIVAR H.O.T (Higher Operating Temperature) Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE FG (Food Grade) shapes, are formulated to maintain key performance properties in an extended temperature range. For this reason, this TIVAR grade excels in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments where temperatures reach up to 230°F / 110°C. TIVAR H.O.T. UHMW-PE FG components are EU 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 and 3-A Dairy Sanitation compliant, making them the ideal, longer life material for wear parts in dairy, bakery, poultry/meat and other food processing industries where higher temperatures or frequent chemical wash downs shorten part life.

The superior sliding performance of TIVAR HPV UHMW-PE FG shapes make it a favored solution for chain guides, sliding strips, rollers, single and multiple corner wear bends, and straight guides, and improve the sliding behavior of these parts at key touch points in conveyor systems. TIVAR® Oil Filled Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE is a self-lubricating UHMW-PE material in the real meaning of the word. Next to an enhanced wear resistance, the incorporated and evenly dispersed oil renders this material a considerable lower coefficient of friction than TIVAR® 1000 UHMW-PE. In conveying equipment, it yields a significant reduction of the required driving force and, in addition, noise reduction. TIVAR Sterra DrySlide Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE is an internal lubricated product. Thanks to this lubricant which is built into the PE-UHMW matrix with higher molecular weight, TIVAR Sterra DrySlide UHMW-PE offers a lower coefficient of friction and enhanced wear and abrasion resistance than TIVAR 1000 PE-UHMW. The additives used also make this material static dissipative and considerably improve UV-resistance. As part of the Sterra product portfolio, this material contains recycled content and exhibits a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to similar materials derived from non-recycled feedstocks. TIVAR VMX UHMW-PE FG (Food Grade), an EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 compliant material containing a metal detectable additive, has been specifically tailored for use in the food processing and packaging industries where it can easily be traced by different detection systems installed to detect contamination of the foodstuffs. TIVAR VMX FG presents excellent toughness and impact strength and even improved wear and abrasion resistance compared with TIVAR 1000 and therefore make this grade especially suited for wear and friction applications.
