Selenis Maven NF 421 is an amorphous copolyester that has been specifically developed for the extrusion of heavy gauge sheets, allowing for high thicknesses without crystallisation occurring. Selenis Maven NF 421 is the best possible solution when exceptional clarity, surface gloss, and neutral edge colour are required. Selenis Maven NF 421 is recommended when a very demanding performance and outstanding toughness are essential, such as, ultimate impact strength at low temperatures and good chemical resistance to detergents and other household cleaning agents. Thanks to its inherent toughness, sheets produced from Selenis Maven NF 421 may be down-gauged without compromising performance. Cost-savings are possible given that there is no need to pre-dry the sheets. Selenis Maven NF 421 is easy to process on standard extrusion lines. Sheets made with Selenis Maven NF 421 may be easily thermoformed, cold-bent, drilled, sawed, screwed, adhesive bonded, routed and personalised though different methods of decoration. All Maven grades are BPA and styrene free.

Selenis Selcare HC 400 is an amorphous copolyester specifically developed for film extrusion for rigid medical packaging, flexible medical device packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards and meets the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry. Selenis Selcare HC 400 has been evaluated, and is offered with, the industry specific regulatory declarations ISO 10993-1 (2017), USP ‘Class VI’, USP<661.1>. Additionally, this resin supports ISO 11607 for sterile barrier packaging. The product is proposed to clients who require high performance and outstanding toughness, such as, excellent impact strength at low temperatures. Selenis Selcare HC 400 can be sterilized with ethylene oxide, and by e-beam /gamma radiation with a standard dose of 25kGy. The resin is easy to process on standard extrusion lines and is free of intentionally added BPA.
