Selcare™ HC 400 Europe
Selenis Selcare HC 400 is an amorphous copolyester specifically developed for film extrusion for rigid medical packaging, flexible medical device packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards and meets the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry. Selenis Selcare HC 400 has been evaluated, and is offered with, the industry specific regulatory declarations ISO 10993-1 (2017), USP ‘Class VI’, USP<661.1>. Additionally, this resin supports ISO 11607 for sterile barrier packaging. The product is proposed to clients who require high performance and outstanding toughness, such as, excellent impact strength at low temperatures. Selenis Selcare HC 400 can be sterilized with ethylene oxide, and by e-beam /gamma radiation with a standard dose of 25kGy. The resin is easy to process on standard extrusion lines and is free of intentionally added BPA.
Selcare™ HC 500 R30 Europe
Selenis Selcare HC 500 R30 is an amorphous copolyester specifically developed for film extrusion for rigid medical packaging, flexible medical device packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. Produced with post-consumer RPET, this resin offers an innovative solution that fits the expectations of brand owners looking to maximise sustainability. Selenis Selcare HC 500 R30 incorporates a standard 30% PCR content. The percentage of PCR is mentioned in the product name, using the letter R plus the % of PCR content in the product. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards and meets the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry. Our polyester grade is the ideal solution for secondary packaging applications, such as, outer display packaging, packaging of glass vials/ampoules/syringes or process automation trays. Selenis Selcare HC 500 R30 is proposed when a very demanding performance and outstanding toughness are essential, such as, ultimate impact strength at low temperatures and good chemical resistance. The resin is easy to process on standard extrusion lines and is free of intentionally added BPA.

Selenis Safe FT 104 is a copolyester specifically developed for the production of parts suitable for medical devices. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards to meet the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry. Selenis Safe FT 104 offers glass clear transparency with the advantage of being unbreakable and therefore improving the safety of laboratory operators. The use of polyester in this field has become well established. The clinical performance outperforms glass as the contamination risk is reduced, improving patients’ safety and comfort.
Selcare™ Safe TT 100 Europe
Selenis Safe TT 100 is a copolyester that has been specifically developed for the production of evacuated blood collection tubes. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards to meet the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry. Selenis Safe TT 100 offers glass clear transparency with the advantage of being unbreakable and therefore improving the safety of laboratory operators. The use of polyester in this field has become well established. The clinical performance outperforms glass tubes as the contamination risk is reduced, improving patients’ safety and comfort. Blood collection tubes made from Selenis Safe TT 100 achieve rapid cooling, improving cycle times and increasing productivity.
