Eastman Cadence™ GS2 is a clear copolyester resin specifically for calendered film applications including decorative laminates, general purpose packaging, transaction and identification cards, and protective films. It has adequate processing ease. Film producers looking to replace PVC and other materials of concern choose Cadence for its ease of processing, low-temperature toughness, and the ability to be downgauged – all of which help reduce cost. It has a wide calendering and thermoforming window, which enables Cadence to be used on most existing calendering lines and thermoforming equipment with little or no modification.
