TOPAS® 5013F-04 Africa & Middle East
TOPAS 5013F-04 is a high temperature film extrusion grade for blends. It is a high clarity amorphous resin with high flow, high stiffness, moisture barrier, chemical resistance, thermoformability and purity for food applications. It is used in monolayer cast blends, and in coextruded blends in both cast and blown processes, for a wide variety of film and sheet products requiring excellent optics in applications such as heat resistant blister, hot fill, and easy tear packaging. If performance at elevated temperatures is not required, we also offer lower glass transition temperature (Tg) grades of TOPAS. TOPAS 5013L-10 is a high flow, internally lubricated injection molding grade with a 130°C heat distortion temperature. It is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for healthcare and other high-tech products. The 5013 resin series features high flow characteristics for excellent mold detail replication. This grade has a high heat distortion temperature to withstand 95°C PCR protocols, is suitable for gamma or EtO procedures. Lower leachables and extractables of TOPAS COC preserve content stability and quality. It is a non-polar substrate that does not promote adsorption, denaturation, aggregation, or precipitation like glass can. This grade has a high (130°C) heat distortion temperature to withstand 121°C steam sterilization protocols, as well as gamma and EtO procedures. TOPAS 8007X10 is a highly UV-transparent version of our 8007 series of injection molding resins. Like the rest of the 8007 grades, 8007X10 is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstanding moisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and a non-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for diagnostic and analytical products. It transmits ultraviolet light at lower wavelengths than other polymers. Analytical results are more accurate with pure TOPAS COC and its higher UV transmission for more precise analysis in contact with sensitive chemistries. TOPAS® Elastomer E-140 Africa & Middle East
TOPAS Elastomer E-140, unlike most TOPAS grades, is a semicrystalline cyclic olefin material with flexibility. It is a fairly stiff elastomer which can be extruded and injection molded, and can be blended with other TOPAS grades, other olefin resins and elastomers. For an elastomer, E-140 features high moisture barrier and has excellent clarity in thin sections or films. Secondary Tg of -6°C is relatively insignificant in terms of E-140 properties such as low temperature brittleness. The major Tg is below -90°C, while the melting point is about 84°C.
