This concentrate contains high purity talc in a polypropylene copolymer. It was formulated specifically for thermoformed sheet applications and is compatible with a wide range of polypropylene types for improving stiffness and heat deflection. Suitable Applications: thermoformed sheet injection molding Environmentally Beneficial Talc is a plentiful, natural mineral and can be used to effectively displace a significant portion of the petrochemical based component in the targeted application. The improved productivity and the lower energy consumption awarded by using our concentrates all help to minimize the carbon footprint of the end product. Regulatory Compliance The ingredients in our concentrates are approved for use in direct food contact packaging and are heavy metals free making them compliant with regulations such as California Proposition 65 and CONEG.

The grade has been specifically designed for moulding large complex parts that require high impact strength as well as good stiffness. This product has good UV resistance and very good aesthetics and is designed for outdoor application. It is not recommended for painted applications as surface defects could appear after painting. Shrinkage is lower (LS = low shrinkage) compared to Hifax CA 1110 G4. This grade is available in custom colour, pellet form.
