ISPLEN® PP 080 G2M is a homopolymer grade with a high fluidity intended for injection moulding. It is characterised by good flow properties that enables to fill the mould easier and by short cycle times with big articles. Articles manufactured with this grade have excellent chemical resistance, are easily decorated and can accept different colouring systems. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS ISPLEN® PP 080 G2M is widely used for the production of consumer goods such us: - Food containers and rigid packaging. - Vacuum and cosmetic flasks. - Garden and domestic furniture - Base product for compounds Recommended melt temperature range from 190 to 250°C. ISPLEN® PP 084 D2M Europe
ISPLEN® PP 084 D2M is a polypropylene homopolymer of high fluidity for injection moulding. It is specifically intended for applications that require end articles with very low surface friction. The grade is characterised by excellent flow properties that facilitates an easy mould filling as well as a quick release from the mould. Articles produced with this grade have good physical properties, excellent chemical resistance and easy printability. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS ISPLEN® PP 084 D2M has been specifically designed for the production of articles that need short cycles times, easy handling and low resistance during manipulation in automatic or robotized production lines, such us: - Caps and closures - Screw caps - Components for spray dispensers. - Pistons for one use syringes, needle covers and other lab equipment (tubes, pipettes...). - Garden furniture. ISPLEN® PP 099 K2M is a high fluidity nucleated polypropylene homopolymer designed for injection moulding applications. It is characterised by its excellent processability which allows for quick, easy filling of moulds and ultra short cycles. Moreover, because of its special crystalline configuration, it has high stiffness and very low warpage. Articles manufactured with this grade have excellent chemical resistance, are easily decorated and can accept different colouring systems. ISPLEN® PP 099 K2M is formulated with an antistatic additive package to permit the dispersion of static charges accumulated on the article surface avoiding anti-aesthetic dust deposits during storage or exhibition. Additive package also facilitates material processing and makes it easier to extract the pieces from the mould. Due to its structure and additive package, ISPLEN® PP 099 X2M offers good transparency, excellent gloss and high stiffness. In addition, the grade shows very low warpage and its excellent processability allows an easy filling of moulds and short cycle times. ISPLEN® PR210X6E is a random ethylene-propylene copolymer with a high molecular weight. It contains a specific formulation for high thermal stability and water extraction purposes. ISPLEN® PR210X6E is supplied in natural colour. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS - Cold and hot water pressure pipe. Recommended melt temperature range from 205 to 225°C. ISPLEN® PR 230 C1E Europe
ISPLEN® PR230C1E is a medium-low melt flow rate propylene-ethylene random copolymer with good transparency, high gloss and excellent surface finish. It is formulated with additives according to the end use of the item in order to reinforce the thermal stability. ISPLEN® PR230C1E can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than that of the base polymer. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS In extrusion and blow-moulding processes that require high transparency and gloss: - Blow-moulding extrusion. ISPLEN® PR 240 G1F is a medium melt flow rate propylene-ethylene random copolymer, with a basic formulation, adapted for extrusion. It does not include any antistatic agent or nucleating additives in its formulation. It can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than that of the base polymer. ISPLEN® PR 264 G1F is a polypropylene random copolymer with medium melt flow rate propylene-ethylene random copolymer. Films prepared with ISPLEN® PR 264 G1F have both excellent optical properties and mechanical properties, and is normally used for packaging (foodstuffs, textiles, stationery, organizational office aids, flowers…). In co-extrusion or lamination it gives the film good heat-sealing characteristics. It can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than that of the base polymer. ISPLEN® PR 264 M1F Europe
ISPLEN® PR 264 M1F is a polypropylene random copolymer with medium melt flow rate. Its specific formulation (antiblocking and slip agents) makes its procesability and rheological properties particularly suitable (pure or blended) for film application. Any antiestatic additive neither additive with SML (Food contact CE/2002/72) are included in its formulation. Films prepared with ISPLEN® PR 264 M1F have both excellent optical properties and mechanical properties, and is normally used for packaging (foodstuffs, textiles, stationery, organizational office aids, flowers). In co-extrusion or lamination it gives the film good heat-sealing characteristics. It can be also used for injection moulding applications in which high mechanical properties are required. ISPLEN® PR 280 P1M contains an additive package that permits the dispersion of static charges accumulated on the surface, preventing anti-aesthetic dust patterns during storage or exhibition and, besides, reducing internal stresses and making it easier to extract the pieces from the mould. In addition to good transparency, it also shows superior impact properties compared to standard random copolymers, especially at low temperatures. At 0°C, impact strength is similar to heterophasic copolymers of the same fluidity. Due to its excellent processability, it is particularly suitable for injection moulding applications used in the manufacture of very thin walled articles. It includes a package of additives that allows dispersion of static charges accumulated on the surface, preventing the formation of dust deposits and making it easier to extract the pieces from the mould. It contains a basic antioxidant stabilization for the pipe extrusion that guarantees the stability of the polymer under normal processing. The additives used are compatible with any others that the customer might wish to add. ISPLEN® PR210G4E is supplied in natural colour. ISPLEN® RC 580 S2M belongs to a new range of highly transparent family specially designed to satisfy the more exigent necessities of the market. PROCESSING ADVANTAGES - It allows reducing the cycle time, due to its higher crystallization temperature. - By its higher stiffness, it increases the mechanical properties of the articles manufactured. Lower tendency to warpage. - Due to the improved optical properties, it is possible to produce articles of higher thickness, maintaining a very good aesthetic result. The haze of this new product in a 2 mm plate is equivalent to the haze of a standard random copolymer in a 1mm plate.
