Borcoat™ BB108E-1199 Africa & Middle East
Borcoat BB108E-1199 is a polypropylene compound The product is coloured white. It includes a combination of stabilisers to ensure long-term thermal stability. The product is supplied as pellets for melt extrusion and as a powder for application by spray or other special means. Applications Borcoat BB108E-1199 is recommended as a top coat or as an anti-slip "rough coat" for multilayer PP systems used in - Steel Pipe Coating Specifications Borcoat BB108E-1199 is intended to fulfil following National and International standards, when appropriate industrial manufacturing standard procedures are applied and a continuous quality system is implemented and when used in combination with BB127E and a compatible powder epoxy. - DIN 30678 - EN ISO 21809-1 - NF A49-711 Special Features Borcoat BB108E-1199 The maximum design temperature for normal ground installations is 110°C for onshore and can be used in specially designed systems like offshore coatings up to 140°C depending on surrounding conditions. When applied in the correct manner, the powder version provides a rough surface for the purpose of stopping concrete weight coating from slipping during the lay process.

Borcoat™ BB125E Africa & Middle East
Borcoat BB125E is a chemically modified polypropylene copolymer designed to be used as the tie layer between the epoxy corrosion protection layer and the top-coat polypropylene Borcoat BB108E-1199. The system Borcoat BB125E/Borcoat BB108E-1199 fulfils the requirements of NFA 49-711, DIN 30678, Shell Specification (DEP 31.40.30.31) and prEN 10286 when used in combination with compatible powder epoxy and applied under good manufacturing practice. Borcoat BB125E can be extruded on conventional LDPE extruders with flat die or crosshead. It has excellent adhesion to fusion bonded epoxy and polypropylene. Furthermore, it has superior thermal properties and can be used at operating temperatures within the range of -20°C to 110°C.

Applications Borcoat BB127E is recommended as an adhesive for multi-layer PP systems used in - Steel Pipe Coating Specifications Borcoat BB127E is intended to fulfill following National and International standards, when appropriate industrial manufacturing standard procedures are applied and a continuous quality system is implemented and when used in combination with BB108E-1199 and a compatible Fusion Bonded Epoxy(FBE) powder. - NF A49-711 - DIN 30678 - EN ISO 21809-1 - ABNT NBR 15221-2 Special features Borcoat BB127E The product is intended to be used as an adhesive for PP three layer or multi-layer thermal insulation systems at design temperatures up to 110°C for onshore and 140°C for offshore applications.

The product is supplied as pellets for melt extrusion. The product is coloured blue. Applications Borcoat BB5000FC is recommended for melt extrusion of field joint coatings, repair patches and for hot applied tapes/sheets on buried or submerged pipelines. Borcoat EA165E is an elastomer modified compound, based on a high molecular weight copolymer. The elastomer modification gives excellent low temperature impact resistance. The product is supplied in pellet form Applications Borcoat EB133E-1199-LT is recommended as a top coat for multilayer PP systems and thermal insulation used in: - Steel Pipe Coating Specifications Borcoat EB133E-1199-LT is intended to fulfil following National and International standards, when appropriate industrial manufacturing standard procedures are applied and a continuous quality system is implemented and when used in combination with Borcoat™ BB122E-LT and a compatible powder epoxy. - ISO 21809-1 - DIN 30678 - NF A49-711 - Gazprom 2-2.2-178-2007 Due to the nature of the modified PP material, indentation resistance of the applied coating could be borderline versus some requirements of common standards and due to known variations in testing, those specified values should be separately agreed upon between the applicator and the client (end user/purchaser). Special Features Borcoat EB133E-1199-LT is intended for design temperatures between -20°C and +110°C and tailored for low temperature handling, transportation and installation.
