Product Availability Product Description
Orevac® 18722 Africa & Middle East
OREVAC® 18722 is a maleic anhydride modified polypropylene. It is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyolefin. Applications OREVAC® 18722 has been designed to develop a reliable bonding strength between polypropylene or propylene copolymers and many kinds of different materials among which polyamides and EVOH. OREVAC® 18722 is recommended for blown or cast film coextrusion.
Orevac® 18729 Africa & Middle East
OREVAC® 18729 is maleic anhydride modified polypropylene. It is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyolefin. Applications OREVAC® 18729 has been designed to develop a reliable bonding strength between polypropylene or propylene copolymers and many kinds of different materials among which polyamides and EVOH. OREVAC® 18729 is recommended for sheet calandering and blow moulding coextrusion.
Orevac® 18732 Africa & Middle East
OREVAC® 18732 is a maleic anhydride modified polypropylene available in pellet form. It can be processed on most extrusion equipments designed to process conventional polyolefins. Applications OREVAC® 18732 is mainly used in applications where mechanical and adhesive performances at high temperatures are required. OREVAC® 18732 is used as tie layer in 3 layers polypropylene coatings (epoxy primer / adhesive / polypropylene) for external protection of steel pipe.
Orevac® 18750 Africa & Middle East
OREVAC® 18750 is a coextrusion coating adhesive based on a maleic anhydride modified polypropylene resin. It is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyolefin. Applications OREVAC® 18750 is a tie resin to be used in extrusion coating and extrusion lamination technologies. It has been designed to develop adhesion in these processes onto substrates like aluminum foil (*), paper or PP films and in coextrusion with resins like PP and PA. OREVAC® 18750 exhibits excellent processing properties, particularly regarding drawability, neck-in and melt stability. In addition to adhesive properties, the special formulation of OREVAC® 18750 allows to design aluminum lids for PP or PP coated cups and containers with controlled opening forces. (*) Adhesion performance to aluminum foil is strongly dependant on thermal conditions in the laminator. Standard conditions of coating onto cold aluminum foil require using a specific post heating treatment in which the OREVAC layer must be molten again.
Orevac® 18751 Africa & Middle East
OREVAC® 18751 is a coextrusion coating adhesive based on a maleic anhydride modified polypropylene resin. It is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyolefin. Applications OREVAC® 18751 is a tie resin to be used in extrusion coating and extrusion lamination technologies. It has been designed to develop adhesion in these processes onto substrates like aluminum foil (*), paper or PP films and in coextrusion with resins like PP and PA. OREVAC® 18751 exhibits excellent processing properties, particularly regarding drawability, neck-in and melt stability. In addition to adhesive properties, the special formulation of OREVAC® 18751 allows to design aluminum lids for PP or PP coated cups and containers with controlled opening forces (**). (*) Adhesion performance to aluminum foil is strongly dependant on thermal conditions in the laminator. Standard conditions of coating onto cold aluminum foil require using a specific post heating treatment in which the Orevac layer must be molten again. (**) Compared to the other extrusion-coating grade OREVAC® 18750, OREVAC® 18751 is slightly more crystalline, leading to lower fat uptake, higher elastic modulus, higher yield strength and thus, higher opening forces in lids applications.
Orevac® CA100 Africa & Middle East
OREVAC® CA100 is a chemically functionalized polypropylene with a high content of maleic anhydride. Grafted maleic anhydride induces polarity to polypropylene and so outstanding adhesion properties on glass and natural fibers, and mineral fillers. Applications OREVAC® CA100 has been designed as coupling agent to develop a reliable bonding strength between PP or PA resins and glass fiber, mineral filler or natural fibers.
