Product Availability Product Description
VESTORAN® 1900 GF20 HE30018 Europe
VESTORAN® 1900GF20 HE30018 is the registered trademark of Evonik Degussa GmbH for molding compounds containing poly-2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether as polymeric constituent (polyphenylene ether, PPE, also referred to as PPO). As a material of amorphous structure VESTORAN® 1900GF20 HE30018 shows very small mold shrinkage. Therefore molded parts have a very low tendency to warp. Moldings of VESTORAN® 1900GF20 HE30018 are dimensionally stable and hydrolysis resistant even in hot water, but are more sensitive to organic solvents than semi-crystalline plastics. VESTORAN® 1900GF20 HE30018 is resistant to aqueous alkalines and acides, certain alcohols, and glycol solutions. Glass fiber reinforcement of this molding material combines outstanding heat deflection temperature under load with high strength and rigidity. VESTORAN®1900GF20 HE30018 is particularly suitable for the adhesion promoter-free manufacturing of plastic/rubber composites patented K&K process ("direct-bonding to rubber"). Pigmentation may affect values.
VESTORAN® 1900 S27024 Europe
As a material of amorphous structure VESTORAN® 1900 S27024 shows very small mold shrinkage. Therefore molded parts have a very low tendency to warp. The impact modified compound is of low density and easy to process. Further properties are excellent impact strength, heat deflection under load and suitability for being coated with lacquers. Moldings of VESTORAN® 1900 S27024 are dimensionally stable and hydrolysis resistant even in hot water, but are more sensitive to organic solvents than semi-crystalline plastics. VESTORAN® 1900 S27024 is resistant to aqueous alkalines and acides, certain alcohols, and glycol solutions and particularly suitable for the adhesion promoter-free manufacturing of plastic/ rubber composites by the Evonik Industries AG -patented K&K process. Pigmentation may affect values.
VESTORAN® 1900 Europe
VESTORAN® 1900 is the registered trademark of Evonik Degussa GmbH for molding compounds containing poly-2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether as polymeric constituent (poly-phenylene ether, PPE, also referred to as PPO). As a material of amorphous structure VESTORAN® 1900 shows very small mold shrinkage. Therefore molded parts have a very low tendency to warp. The impact modified compound is of low density and easy to process. Further properties are excellent impact strength, heat deflection under load and suitability for being coated with lacquers. Moldings of VESTORAN® 1900 are dimensionally stable and hydrolysis resistant even in hot water, but are more sensitive to organic solvents than semi-crystalline plastics. VESTORAN® 1900 is resistant to aqueous alkalines and acides, certain alcohols, and glycol solutions. Colored material contains only cadmium-free pigments. VESTORAN® 1900 is particularly suitable for the adhesion promoter-free manufacturing of plastic/ rubber composites by the Evonik Degussa GmbH-patented K&K process ("direct-bonding to rubber").
VESTORAN® X7342 Europe
VESTORAN® X7342 is the registered trademark of the Evonik Degussa GmbH for molding compounds containing poly-2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene ether as polymeric constituent (poly-phenylene ether, PPE, also referred to as PPO). As a material of amorphous structure, VESTORAN® X7342 shows very small mold shrinkage. Therefore molded parts have a very low tendency to warp. Moldings of VESTORAN® X7342 are dimensionally stable and hydrolysis resistant even in hot water, but are more sensitive to organic solvents than semi-crystalline plastics. VESTORAN® X7342 is resistant to aqueous alkalines and acides, certain alcohols, and glycol solutions. Due to the glass fiber-reinforcement the compound combines outstanding heat deflection temperature under load with high strength and rigidity. The even smaller shrinkage compared to non-reinforced VESTORAN® depends on the orientation of the glass fibers in the molded part.
