Fortron® 9141L4 Africa & Middle East
40% Glass reinforced PPS, low flash, V-0 Fortron 9141L4Â is a 40% glass-reinforced PPS that has excellent heat and chemical resistance, inherently flame-retardant, high hardness and a good balance of strength and stiffness. This grade exhibits low flash and is typically used in applications with thicker walls and shorter flow lengths.

It offers extremely low ion leaching and is especially suitable for hydrogen related applications. It is inherently flame-retardant and exhibits high hardness and a good balance of strength and stiffness. Especially used for thin walled parts requiring long flow lengths. This grade also exhibits excellent weldability in secondary operations due to its low filler content.
Fortron® HY 1140L4 Africa & Middle East
40% Glass reinforced, strong and tough, V-0 Fortron HY 1140L4 is a 40% glass-reinforced grade that is the strongest and toughest product available. It offers extremely low ion leaching properties and is especially suitable for hydrogen industry. It also has the excellent heat and chemical resistance, good electrical properties and is inherently flame-retardant. The high hardness and rigidity at elevated temperatures allows for good load bearing performance. This product has good weldability due to the modest filler level. Applications made of this grade are electronical components (i.e. bobbins, lamp housings, brush holders) and various other components requiring strength and resistance to aggressive chemicals (i.e. automotive heaters, pumps, valves, fuel rails, microwave oven rings and distillation column packings).

40% Glass-filled, improved crystallization FORTRON ICE 504L is a 40% glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide, that belongs to our new generation of Fortron® PPS. This new technology allows optimization of molding conditions with faster cycle times. Due to the faster crystallization of the material at a higher temperature, the option of mold wall temperature reduction can be subject of advanced process optimization. The potential for optimization of Fortron® ICE by cycle time reduction is possible by standard cavity surface temperatures of 140°C. The potential for lowering the mold temperature must be checked individually and it depends on process and part design. Â

Fortron MT9140L6 is used for thin walled parts with long flow lengths. Components made of this grade may be used for medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and certain food handling applications.
