This 40% glass fibre reinforced grade offers a higher stiffness and creep resistance than Techtron® PPS and has a much better dimensional stability. This grade is very appropriate for structural applications carrying high static loads for long periods of time at elevated temperatures. The suitability of Techtron® GF40 PPS for sliding parts, however, is to be carefully examined since the glass fibres tend to abrade the mating surface.

Techtron HPV Polyphenylene Sulfide PPS FG (Food Grade) is an internally lubricated, EU 10/2011 and FDA Compliant grade that offers superior wear resistance, outstanding chemical and hydrolysis resistance, excellent dimensional stability, great electrical insulating and dielectric properties, a low coefficient of friction, and inherently low flammability. As a reinforced, internal lubricant filled grade, Techtron HPV PPS FG closes the gap in performance and price, between standard thermoplastics and advanced engineering plastics.
