CONATHANE® CE-1155 North America
CONATHANE CE-1155 is a two-component, solvent-based polyurethane printed circuit board coating designed for use in adverse environments. CONATHANE CE-1155 provides outstanding resistance to moisture and good abrasion resistance. The cured film is hard and tough and has excellent adhesion to phenolic and epoxy-glass laminates. When tested over printed circuit patterns, excellent results are obtained with 1.5 mil films. Defective components can be replaced in coated areas using ordinary repair procedures without degradation or discoloration. Spot re-coating can then be accomplished. CONATHANE CE-1155 may be applied by spray, dip, or brush techniques and will cure at room or elevated temperatures. The cured film is suitable for continuous operation up to 130°C. The system contains a fluorescent dye to aid inspection under ultraviolet light.
CONATHANE® CE-1155-35 North America
CONATHANE CE-1155-35 is a two-component, high-performance, solvent-based polyurethane coating system for protecting circuit assemblies in adverse environments. CONATHANE CE 1155 35 is supplied at 35% solids and is primarily intended for spray applications. Application can be made by dipping, however two or more coats may be required to obtain a recommended film thickness of 1.5 to 2 mils.
CONATHANE® CE-1164 North America
CONATHANE CE-1164 is a single-component, air drying, room temperature curing, polyurethane conformal coating which meets the requirements of MIL-I-46058C for Type UR coatings and appears on the Qualified Products List (QPL). CONATHANE CE-1164 is a solvent-based coating designed for thin-film applications on electronic components and printed circuitry. It was developed specifically to provide the ultimate in humidity resistance and hydrolytic stability while retaining excellent flexibility to prevent fracturing of fragile components during thermal cycling. Cured films maintain excellent adhesion to phenolic and epoxy-glass laminates even in adverse environmental conditions. A tracer dye has been incorporated to aid inspection under ultraviolet light.
CONATHANE® CE-1175 North America
CONATHANE CE-1175 is a single-component water-based polyurethane conformal coating that meets the requirements of MIL-I-46058-C Type UR. CONATHANE CE-1175 is designed for thin-film applications on components and printed circuitry. It was developed specifically to provide the ultimate in humidity resistance and hydrolytic stability, yet retain excellent flexibility to prevent fracturing of fragile components during thermal cycling. CONATHANE® EN-14 North America
CONATHANE EN-14, or EN-14 Black, is a two-component, unfilled, low viscosity, fast-gelling, fast-curing, flexible polyurethane elastomer system designed for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic assemblies. CONATHANE EN-14 is a non-mercury version of CONATHANE® DPEN 8536. The cured system features excellent water resistance, thermal shock resistance, and electrical properties. The initial low viscosity of the system allows good penetration into fine windings. CONATHANE EN-14 is fully transparent and can easily be cut to remove defective components. Repairs can be made by application of more of the liquid system. CONATHANE EN-14 is particularly recommended for potting and encapsulating strain and heat sensitive devices in modules, connectors, and units required to operate in the temperature range of -65°C to 130°C. It also has shown utility as a conformal coating and can be applied by casting, spraying, or brushing. Airless spray equipment can be used effectively.

CONATHANE EN-1554 is a polyether based polyurethane resin system primarily intended for use as a molding, encapsulating and potting compound for harness breakouts, watertight electrical connectors, cables, cable end seals, printed circuitry and other electrical components. The system also has utility in the casting or molding of mechanical parts and as a lining material for pumps, chutes and conveyors, where outstanding abrasion resistance is a necessity. CONATHANE EN-1554 may be cured at room or elevated temperatures. CONATHANE EN-1554, when fully cured, is a tough, cold-flow resistant elastomer that has good resistance to oils, gasoline, JP-4 fuel, water, and seawater and also provides outstanding protection against corrosion or contamination. The system is funginert when tested in accordance with MIL-E-5262C and MIL-STD-810B. Three primers have been developed for use in bonding EN-1554 to metals, neoprene, and polyvinyl chloride during the curing process. CONAP® AD-1146 is recommended for metals, CONAP® PR-1167 for neoprene, and CONAP® AD-1161 for polyvinyl chloride.

CONATHANE EN-21 is a two-component, liquid, low viscosity, low toxicity, room temperature curing polyurethane resin system. This system was formulated specifically for the potting, casting, embedding, and encapsulation of electronic circuits, components, and power devices. It is UL 94 HB certified. CONATHANE EN-21 is an easy-to-use, non-TDI, non MbOCA system. It can be hand mixed or machine dispensed and cured at room or elevated temperatures. CONATHANE EN-2521 is a two-part filled polyurethane resin system. The system features good handling properties and working life. EN-2521 can be cured at room or elevated temperatures without the formation of voids. The cured compound has excellent water resistance and is exceptionally resistant to thermal shock. Other outstanding properties of this system include low exotherm, very low stresses during cure, low shrinkage, and very good electrical properties. CONATHANE EN-2521 is recommended for potting applications where exceptional performance in the temperature range of -65°C to 130°C is required. It is particularly useful in the encapsulation of modules, strain sensitive circuitry, transformers, and coils.

CONATHANE EN-2523 is a two-part filled polyurethane casting system. It consists of two low viscosity liquids that have low vapor pressure and good handling properties at room temperature. CONATHANE EN-2523 can be cured at room or elevated temperatures without the formation of voids. Low exotherm, low stress build-up during cure, low shrinkage, and excellent electrical properties are other outstanding features of this system. CONATHANE EN-2523 is recommended for potting electrical and electronic devices that are subjected to conditions of extreme thermal shock and exposure to adverse environments. The low viscosity of the system permits thorough impregnation of electrical and electronic assemblies.

CONATHANE EN-2534 Black is a two-part, non-mercury, fast setting, filled, flexible polyurethane potting system that consists of two low viscosity liquids that have low vapor pressure and good handling properties at room temperature. CONATHANE EN-2534 Black can be cured at room or elevated temperatures without the formation of voids. Low exotherm, low stress build- up during cure, low shrinkage, and excellent electrical properties are other outstanding features of this system. CONATHANE EN-2534 Black is particularly recommended for potting electrical and electronic devices that are subjected to conditions of extreme thermal shock and must also withstand exposure to adverse environments. Even though filled, the low viscosity of this system permits thorough impregnation of electrical and electronic components.

CONATHANE EN-2550 is a two-part, filled polyurethane resin system formulated for casting high-voltage transformers and potting or encapsulating electronic devices. The system features good handling properties at room temperature, good working life, and minimum processing hazards. CONATHANE EN-2550 can be cured at room or elevated temperatures without the formation of voids. The cured compound has excellent water resistance, and is resistant to thermal shock. Other beneficial characteristics of this system include low exotherm, low stresses during cure, low shrinkage, and very good electrical properties.

CONATHANE EN-2553 is a filled, two-component polyurethane system designed for use as a potting and encapsulating material for electronic components where critical thermal cycling characteristics are a factor. CONATHANE EN-2553 has excellent electrical properties, low shrinkage, low stress build-up and can be hand mixed or machine dispensed. This RoHS compliant system has been tested according to UL test criteria and has obtained UL 94 V-0 & RTI 120 °C standards.

CONATHANE EN-3010 is a filled, two-component polyurethane system formulated for surface mount technology (SMT) applications. CONATHANE EN-3010 has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories to be RoHS compliant and recognized to UL 94V-0.
CONATHANE® EN-4020 North America
CONATHANE EN-4020 is a filled, flame retardant urethane system formulated for casting high-voltage transformers and other electrical/electronic devices used in demanding outdoor applications. CONATHANE EN-4020 has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories and is recognized to UL 94V-0.
CONATHANE® EN-7 North America
CONATHANE EN-7 and EN-8 are two-component, non MBOCA based, high strength liquid polyurethane resin systems designed to ensure the performance of electrical/electronic assemblies exposed to severe environmental extremes. Elastomers prepared from these systems exhibit the following outstanding properties: - Superior hydrolytic stability - Low viscosity - Fungus resistance - Exceptional dielectric properties - Thermal shock resistance - High strength - High elongation These systems are recommended for use as molding and potting compounds for electrical cables, connectors, modules, wire wound devices, strain sensitive devices, as well as 100% solids coatings for printed circuitry. Their excellent adhesion to most substrates, and good flexibility, also suggest their use as staking and filleting adhesives.
