Exxelor™ PE 1040 Africa & Middle East
Exxelor PE 1040 polymer resin is a maleic anhydride functionalized high density polyethylene, produced by reactive extrusion. It has been primarily designed to act as a coupling agent in filled polyethylene compounds, or as a coupling agent or tie layer in multilayer polyethylene systems to ensure compatibility and improve adhesion of the different layers. This grade is designed to: - Function as a coupling agent between reinforcing materials such as natural and mineral fillers and high density polyethylene to improve mechanical properties. - Achieve compatibility and adhesion between high density polyethylene and polyamide. - Function as a tie layer in multilayer tank systems with high density polyethylene and a barrier layer.
Exxelor™ PO 1015 Africa & Middle East
Exxelor PO 1015 polymer resin is a maleic anhydride functionalized polypropylene copolymer, produced by reactive extrusion. It has been primarily designed to add polarity to polypropylene matrices and in particular improve polypropylene reactivity with amino-silane treated glass reinforcements. This grade is designed to: - Function as a coupling agent between reinforcing materials, such as glass fibers and inorganic fillers, and polypropylene. - Achieve compatibility in polypropylene/polyamide alloys. - Achieve compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride for alloying, recycling or co-extrusion purposes. - Improve polypropylene-to-metal adhesion properties.
Exxelor™ PO 1020 Africa & Middle East
Exxelor PO 1020 polymer resin is a high performance maleic anhydride functionalized homopolypropylene produced by reactive extrusion. It has been primarily designed to add polarity to polypropylene matrices and in particular to improve polypropylene reactivity with amino-silane treated glass reinforcements. Its high content of maleic anhydride allows its use at low treat levels while maintaining optimum application properties.
Exxelor™ VA 1202 Africa & Middle East
Exxelor VA 1202 polymer resin is a low viscosity ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Its fully saturated backbone results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, leading to good weatherability. This grade is designed for: - Super-tough nylon applications without low temperature impact requirements. - Medium / low toughness applications. - Glass-filled impact modified applications.
Exxelor™ VA 1801 Africa & Middle East
Exxelor VA 1801 polymer resin is a medium viscosity, semi-crystalline ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Its fully saturated backbone results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability leading to enhanced weatherability. Moreover, its elastomeric nature provides high impact resistance at room temperature and at low temperature when blended with engineering polymers such as polyamide. This grade is designed to: - Modify the impact characteristics of the full range of polyamides for temperatures as low as -20°C (a function of the modifier treat level in the blend). - Modify the impact characteristics of other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers, etc.). - Achieve compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride.
Exxelor™ VA 1803 Africa & Middle East
Exxelor VA 1803 polymer resin is a high flow, amorphous ethylene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride by reactive extrusion. Its fully saturated backbone results in outstanding thermal and oxidative stability leading to enhanced weatherability. Moreover, its amorphous nature exhibits impact resistance at very low temperatures in blends with engineering polymers such as polyamide. This grade is designed to: - Modify the impact characteristics of the full range of polyamides for temperatures as low as -40°C (a function of the modifier treat level in the blend). - Offer the best balance between stiffness and low temperature performance in polyamide blends. - Modify the impact characteristics of other engineering thermoplastics and technical polymers (with or without glass fibers, fillers, etc.). - Achieve compatibility between polyolefins and more polar polymers that are capable of interacting with maleic anhydride.
