Haysite Plastics HST-II North America
UL, Inc. has granted HST-II the highest thermal recognition ever achieved by any glass polyester laminate (U.L. File No. E81893). HST-II has a 220° C/210° C rating for 1/8" thick and heavier, and a 210° C/210° C rating for 1/32" thick up to 1/8" thick. HST-II is a high temperature polyester laminate that exhibits excellent retention of electrical and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. Applications for HST-II can be found in high voltage transformers, D.C. motors and elsewhere when materials with high thermal indices are required. Available thicknesses - .031" - 2.00". Standard color - Brown.

Hetron™ 197 Africa & Middle East
HETRON 197 resin is a non-thixotropic, unpromoted, halogenated, flame retardant") clear polyester. HETRON 197 resin may be used for closed molding applications. HETRON 197 resin can be formulated into other HETRON resins of the 197 series (except HETRON 197AT resin) with the addition of styrene, thixotrope agents or promoters. - Excellent corrosion resistance to acidic and other oxidizing environments - High heat resistance - gases and vapor to 177°C (350°F) - Excellent strength retention at elevated temperatures - Good fire retardancy - Has met ASTM E-84 Class ll rating with 5% antimony trioxide APPLICATIONS AND USE Corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic equipment including press molded and pultruded pipe, flanges, fittings, pumps, pump housings, mist eliminator blades and other equipment handling corrosive gases, vapors or liquids.
Hetron™ F 240 TF Europe
HETRON F 240 TF is a non pre-accelerated, thixotropic flame retardant resin based on a oithophtalic unsaturated polyester containing mineral and organic fillers. It contains neither chlorine nor nitogen. The colour of the resin is white. Application and use HETRON F 240 TF resin can be used in contact moulding, spray-up and cold press applications. It is particulary recommended for finished products which need very good flame retardency and low smoke toxicity, e.g. construction (sanitary etc.), and transport (trains underground/subway).
Hetron™ F 640 TF Europe
HETRON F 640 TF is a flame retardant based on unsaturated polyester resin containing mineral fillers. It is a halogen and antimony free resin. HETRON F 640 TF resin is thixotropic, non accelerated and the colour is white. Application and use HETRON F 640 TF resin can be used in hand lay-up and and spray-up applications. The resin is particularly recommended for finished products where very good fire retardancy and low smoke toxicity and opacity are required, e.g. construction (sanitary...), and transport (trains underground/subway).
Hetron™ FR 650 INF-20 North America
HETRON FR 650 Series resins are flame retardant polyester resins. Composites made with HETRON FR 650 Series resins have been tested and have achieved a Class 1 Flame Spread per ASTM E-84 without addition of synergists such as antimony trioxide. HETRON FR 650 INF-20 resin is a low viscosity promoted resin optimized for the infusion process. This grade may also be used for resin transfer molding. It exhibits excellent glass wet out properties. APPLICATIONS AND USE HETRON FR 650 Series resins, depending on the grade selected, can be used in hand lay-up, spray-up, filament winding and infused flame retardant applications. Markets include architectural, mass transit, passenger rail, electrical and mine ducting.

Composites made with HETRON FR 650 Series resins have been tested and have achieved a Class 1 Flame Spread per ASTM E-84 without addition of synergists such as antimony trioxide. HETRON FR 650 T-20 resin is a low viscosity, promoted, thixotropic, version. It exhibits excellent wet-out properties and low drainage when applied to vertical surfaces. This resin is formulated to contain 35% styrene. APPLICATIONS AND USE HETRON FR 650 Series resins, depending on the grade selected, can be used in hand lay-up, spray-up, filament winding and infused flame retardant applications. Markets include architectural, mass transit, passenger rail, electrical and mine ducting.
