SULAPAC FLOW V1.7 – EX1013 Europe
Sulapac Flow v1.7 is a sustainable extrusion material with outstanding functional properties and a beautiful appearance. The main components are wood from industrial side streams and biodegradable biopolymers. All raw materials are sourced according to a strict sustainability policy and the wood originates from certified forests. Sulapac Flow v1.7 contains 72% USDA certified biobased content, as analyzed according to ASTM D6866 standard under the USDA BioPreferred® Program. As USDA Certified Biobased Product, Sulapac Flow v1.7 has achieved third-party verification of biobased content and has earned USDA certification and approval to display the label. The USDA Certified Biobased Product label is a certification mark of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Sulapac Flow v1.7 material is industrially compostable certified according to BPI (ASTM D6400) and Seedling (EN 13432). Please check the detailed recycling instructions with local authorities. Sulapac Flow v1.7 is safe for both people and the planet. Ecotoxicity and threshold values for heavy metals have been tested according to EN 13432. The material can be digested by naturally occurring microorganisms and does not leave permanent microplastics behind. SULAPAC PREMIUM – IM1001 Europe
Sulapac Premium is a sustainable, beautiful, and functional biocomposite for injection molding. The material is 100% bio-based and certified according to ASTM D6866 under the USDA BioPreferred® program. The main components are wood from industrial side streams and biodegradable biopolymers. All raw materials are sourced according to a strict sustainability policy and the wood originates from certified forests. The material is recyclable via industrial composting. Sulapac Premium is safe for both people and the planet: The ecotoxicity and threshold values for heavy metals have been tested according to EN 13432 / ASTM D6400. Sulapac Premium is certified as industrially compostable by Biodegradable Products Institute BPI up to thickness of 4,88 mm. As the compostability of the end product is also dependent on the geometry of product, it is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the end product to ensure compliance with the regulations. It has low carbon footprint and it does not leave permanent microplastics behind. The material complies with the food contact requirements of the EU and FDA legislation, REACH requirements and meet the framework regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 for cosmetic products. Only non-GMO raw materials are used in the production. Sulapac Premium is available as FSC-certified meaning the wood is sustainably sourced. It is ideal for sustainable products that aim for an air of luxury. The grade of Sulapac Premium Flex 40 is more flexible and has better impact strength. It sets a new standard when comparing biodegradable materials to conventional plastics as it biodegrades without leaving permanent microplastics behind1. This drop-in solution material can be mass produced with minor, or no changes, to the existing injection molding machinery. Our technical experts are available to assist with the tests and production settings. The material is safe for both people and the planet: the ecotoxicity and threshold values for heavy metals of the raw materials have been verified to meet EN 13432 and/or ASTM D6400. The raw materials comply with the food contact requirements of the EU. They fulfil the requirements of REACH and Proposition 65 compliant and meet the framework regulation (EC) No.1223/2009 for cosmetic products. The material is non-GMO. The material is 87% bio-based and certified according to ASTM D6866 under the USDA BioPreferred® program. The main components are wood from industrial side streams and biopolymers. Sulapac Solid is an appealing, sustainable material alternative especially suitable for products used on daily basis, such as plates, mugs, bowls, and containers. With a beautiful ceramic look and feel, the hard-wearing Sulapac Solid has high impact strength and is dishwasher and microwave safe. This sustainable material has a low carbon footprint and is made of responsibly sourced bio-based raw materials and naturally occurring clay minerals. To reach the high performance, the material is injection molded with a hot (100°C) mold and can be processed with existing plastic product machinery. The material is 100% bio-based and certified according to ASTM D6866 under the USDA BioPreferred® program. Most importantly, Sulapac Solid doesn’t leave permanent microplastics behind.

Sulapac Universal Flex 30 High Flow is a beautiful and functional material for injection molding. It contains 79% USDA certified biobased content, including sustainably sourced biodegradable biopolymers and side stream wood. With ideal flexural strain and impact strength, and excellent processability the material is well suited for complicated designs like knives and forks. It can be used for both single-use and reusable cutlery. Sulapac Universal Flex 30 High Flow is safe for people and the planet: It is industrially compostable certified (BPI, Seedling) and leaves no permanent microplastic or toxic load behind. It meets the requirements for food contact materials by EU and FDA.
SULAPAC UNIVERSAL FLEX 35 – IM1012 Europe
Sulapac Universal Flex 35 is a new sustainable material designed for thin-walled structures with good impact strength. Yet, it biodegrades without leaving permanent microplastics behind. The material is 94 % bio-based and certified according to ASTM D6866 under the USDA BioPreferred® program. This drop-in solution material can be mass produced with minor, or no changes, to the existing plastic machinery. The flexibility of Universal Flex 35 is 2.6 %. Sulapac Premium Flex 35 is safe for both people and planet: The ecotoxicity and threshold values for heavy metals have been tested according to ASTM D6400. Sulapac Universal Flex 35 is certified as industrially compostable by Biodegradable Products Institute BPI up thickness 1,48 mm. As the compostability of the end product is also dependent on the geometry of product, it is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the end product to ensure compliance with the regulations.
