Cable Components Group’s FluoroChar® is a fully compounded or masterbatch anti-drip UL recognized Plenum insulation and/or jacket material. FluoroChar® enhances fire retardancy while decreasing smoke generation during fire testing. Fluorochar ® is designed to mitigate flaming droplets in complex cable designs with thicker walls and higher pair counts. Additionally, this compound decreases acid gas generation by 10% while burning (as determined by NES 713 toxic index testing). FluoroChar ® is available in FEP for use in UL 444 applications.

CCG’s Printable FEP compound enables direct ink-jet printing, mitigating the need to invest in laser or chemical etching equipment and processes.
