The chemical compatibilization of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) will result in a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer compound with a homogeneous and stable processing morphology. The compound exhibits improved impact strength and excellent tribological properties. The thermal and chemical resistance corresponds to the properties of the PEEK matrix material. The granules can be processed under the processing conditions of the matrix material by extrusion or injection molding.

The semi-crystalline polymer features superior mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance. Parts made from VESTAKEEP® 2000 FC30 are of low flammability. Parts made of this resin can be used for bearing bushing or gearbox parts, due to the self-lubricating effect. Pigmentation may affect values.
VESTAKEEP® 4000 FC30 Europa
VESTAKEEP® 4000 FC30 is a carbon fiber reinforced, graphite and PTFE-filled polyether ether ketone for injection molding. Parts made of this resin can be used for bearing bushing or gearbox parts due to the selflubricating effect. The semi-crystalline polymer features superior mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance. Parts made from VESTAKEEP® 4000 FC30 are of low flammability. Pigmentation may affect values.
