Vinnolit® P 70 F Europa
Vinnolit P 70 F is an extremely fine-particle, homopolymer for special plastisols and organosol processing (laquers). Used in combination with solvents or plasticizers and the common additives, organosols or plastisols (see diagram) having low viscosities and good shelf lifes. Coatings made of Vinnolit P 70 F exhibit minimal water absorption, no haze on exposure to water, highest clarity, high gloss and very good electrical and dielectric characteristics. Due to the extreme particle fineness, Vinnolit P 70 F is recommended for very thin coatings, e.g. can and coil coatings.
Vinnolit® P 70 HT Europa
Vinnolit P 70 HT is a fine grained microsuspension homopolymer, designed for paste-applications. It can be easily converted into a plastisol with low viscosity, moderate pseudo-plastic flow characteristic and excellent shelf-life. The plastisols made of Vinnolit P 70 HT with a medium plasticizer content exhibit a moderate pseudoplastic rheology with slight dilatancy at high shear rates. The dilatancy can be reduced/eliminated by blending with extender resins, such as Vinnolit C 65 V or Vinnolit C 66 W or with specially emulsion grades. Vinnolit P 70 HT shows excellent low water absorption characteristics and has outstanding weathering properties combined with a very high thermostability. With this dominant properties it is perfectly useful for outdoor applications, like signs, tarpaulins, awnings, bill- boards, roofing sheets, textile constructions and coil coatings. The product additionally shows an excellent transparency and very low plate out properties, which makes it profoundly suitable for clear-transparent top coats as well as for printed surfaces (advertising).
Vinnolit® P 70 PS Europa
Vinnolit P 70 PS is a fine grained homopolymer for plastisol processing giving medium-viscosity plastisols with an excellent shelf life. Pastes made with Vinnolit P 70 PS show a moderate pseudoplastic rheology at low shear rates and a moderate dilatant flow behaviour at higher shear rates, which becomes more pronounced at low plasticizer level. This dilatant behaviour can easily be reduced by blending with Extender grades, like Vinnolit C 65 V or C 66 W (see diagram) or by blending with special emulsion grades. Due to its very low emulsifier content the product shows a very low moisture absorption making it ideally suited for outdoor applications. Thin plastisols of Vinnolit P 70 PS in combination with special Emulsion resins show excellent properties for dip coating (Foulard) of e.g. textile substrates.
Vinnolit® P 70 Europa
Vinnolit P 70 is a fine grained homopolymer for plastisol processing giving low-viscosity plastisols with an excellent shelf life. Vinnolit P 70 pastes with a medium plasticizer content show a Newtonian rheology at low shear rates (Brookfield) and moderate dilatant rheology at high shear rates. The dilatancy can readily be reduced or even eliminated by blending with extender resins such as Vinnolit C 65 V (see diagram) or Vinnolit C 66 W or special emulsion grades. Vinnolit P 70 has outstanding water resistance and high thermostability/weatherability and is thus ideally suited for long term outdoor applications, e.g., textile constructions, roofing sheets, tar-paulins, awnings, coil coating, decorative films and, owing to its high transparency, for trans-parent top coats.
Vinnolit® P 80 Europa
Vinnolit P 80 is a fine grained homopolymer for plastisol processing giving low-viscosity plastisols with an excellent shelf life. Vinnolit P 80 pastes with a medium plasticizer content show Newtonian rheology at low shear rates (Brookfield) and dilatant behaviour at high shear rates. The dilatancy can readily be reduced or even eliminated by blending with extender resins such as Vinnolit C 65 V or Vinnolit C 66 W (see adjacent diagram) or with specialty emulsion grades. Due to the very low emulsifier content this product shows very low moisture absorption and shows an excellent thermostability with high-gloss-film-finish. The main application areas are transparent top coats, special dip coating processes and for cover seals/gaskets.
Vinnolit® PA 5470/5 Europa
Vinnolit PA 5470/5 is a fine-particle, paste-making emulsion copolymer of vinyl chloride and 3 % vinyl acetate giving medium-viscosity plastisols with slightly pseudo-plastic flow properties. Due to its vinyl acetate content, Vinnolit PA 5470/5 can be processed at lower gelling temperatures than homopolymers.
