- NexPrene® HTPV 9045D is a high performance cross-linked rubber that is dispersed in a high performance thermoplastic rubber (elastomer). - NexPrene® HTPV 9045D is a proprietary thermoplastic vulcanizate. The rubber phase is based on acrylate terpolymer elastomer, whereas, the thermoplastic phase is based on polyether-ester block copolymer. KEY FEATURES: - Ideal for creep from -60 o C to 170 o C - High flex fatigue resistance - Excellent resiliency - Easy to color - Shock and noise isolation - Connector and fastener with integral hinges and springs - Shock vibration absorption - Superior heat and chemical/oil resistance over traditional TPES products, such as Santoprene, SEBS and Hytrel. - HB Flame rating KEY APPLICATIONS: Product intended for injection molding and extrusion processing, and under the hood applications such as gaskets, grommets, seals, plugs where high heat and oil resistance is required.
