GRAFTED XLPO BASE FOR USE IN MOISTURE CROSSLINKABLE APPLICATIONS (RoHS COMPLIANT)

DESCRIPTION
Natural, unfilled grafted polymer base in pellet form designed to be used in moisture crosslinkable applications for power and control cables requiring added flexibility and excellent electrical properties. AquaGraft EPMC-16 will cure with exposure to moisture at ambient temperature over a time (depending on cable construction and environmental conditions.) AquaGraft EPMC-16 can also be cured at improved rates if exposed to sauna or hot water after extrusion.

APPLICATIONS
AquaGraft EPMC-16 is designed for use in low to medium voltage (5kv) power cable applications. AquaGraft EPMC-16, when used in correct ratios with available Flame Retardant masterbatch will allow the cable to pass various industry recognized flame tests and perform in wet environments up to 90oC in applications

SPECIFICATIONS
When extruded and cured consistent with standard safe wire and cable industry practices, cable insulated with the correct ratios AquaGraft EPMC-16 and FMB Masterbatch/CMB-432 will comply with the requirements as specified in the following standards:
