Selenis Selcare HC 400 is an amorphous copolyester specifically developed for film extrusion for rigid medical packaging, flexible medical device packaging and pharmaceutical packaging. This grade is manufactured to rigorous quality standards and meets the requirements of the highly regulated medical industry.

Selenis Selcare HC 400 has been evaluated, and is offered with, the industry specific regulatory declarations ISO 10993-1 (2017), USP ‘Class VI’, USP<661.1>. Additionally, this resin supports ISO 11607 for sterile barrier packaging.

The product is proposed to clients who require high performance and outstanding toughness, such as, excellent impact strength at low temperatures.

Selenis Selcare HC 400 can be sterilized with ethylene oxide, and by e-beam /gamma radiation with a standard dose of 25kGy.

The resin is easy to process on standard extrusion lines and is free of intentionally added BPA.
