ELVAX™ 40L-03 Afrique & Moyen-Orient
ELVAX™ 40L-03 is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin for use in industrial applications. The melt index is consistent because resin molecular weight distribution is controlled to within a relatively narrow range. The molecular weight is high for this family of copolymers, so finished products will be relatively resistant to mechanical damage and elevated temperatures. Compared with other ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers, ELVAX™ 40L-03 contains extremely low amounts of gel, or high-molecular-weight polymer, that can cause undesirable characteristics in finished products. Because ELVAX™ 40L-03 is somewhat crystalline, it is free flowing and does not mass during handling. Smooth, glossy surfaces are desirable because they can imply quality, while uniformity can enhance long-term performance. - Power cable semiconductive shields made with ELVAX™40L-03 also benefit from the consistency of their compounds and low gel content. Any inconsistency in shields can lead to cable failure.

FINGERPRINT™ DFDA-7555 NT Amérique du Nord
FINGERPRINT™ DFDA-7555 NT is a medium density bimodal polyethylene resin produced using Unipol™II process technology. It is intended for use in thin-wall micro irrigation tape applications and profile extrusion applications. DFDA-7555 NT exhibits good draw down characteristics producing tape with a reliable balance of extrusion ease and toughness. It also has utility as a blending component to modify and improve the physical properties of high pressure, very low density, linear low density, or high density polyethylene resins and post industrial resins. Outdoor applications require the addition of UV stabilizer to maintain the excellent properties over extended periods of UV exposure. Dow DFNF-0092 carbon black masterbatch at a 6.5% concentration has been found to offer suitable UV resistance. FLEXOMER™ DFDC-1137 NT 7 Very Low-Density Polyethylene (VLDPE) Resin is an ethylene copolymer intended for use in molding and extrusion applications where high flexibility is desired. It is especially useful for fresh produce packaging films, flexible hose and tube applications as well as for blow molding small, squeezable bottles. The resin utilizes a TnPP (Tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite) free additive formulation. It has a high molecular weight and a relatively narrow molecular weight distribution and exhibits excellent low temperature toughness and outstanding flex life characteristics. It is also recommended as a blending component to modify and improve the physical properties of high pressure and linear low density polyethylene resins.
