Glastic® 1401 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1401 is an electrical grade of encapsulating material. Characterized by a balance of soft flow and cure rate to ensure complete and proper encapsulation without voiding. Generally too soft for compression molding, but excellent in transfer or injection processes. Directly competitive against epoxy encapsulants on cost and cycle times. Very stable shelf life.
Glastic® 1403 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1403 is one of the most useful general purpose electrical grade materials available on the market. Competitive against phenolic, melamine and urea materials for electrical applications. Easy molding in compression, transfer and injection processes. Stable shelf life.
Glastic® 1410 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1410 is a high-strength electrical grade material with excellent flammability resistance. In most applications, this material is competitive with SMC. Equal performance at a lower cost. Normally compression molded, but has been successfully injection molded in a number of applications.
Glastic® 1412 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1412 is one of the most versatile and universal molding materials available anywhere. Flame and track resistant, low shrink for close dimensional control and surface smoothness, high physical properties. Developed for injection molding but also suitable for compression or transfer applications. Glastic's highest temperature material, Grade 1412 is truly a premium material at a reasonable cost. Grade 1412 is approved for Mil specifications MAI-30, MAI-60 and MAT-30.
Glastic® 1423 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1423 is a wear-resistant electrical grade material used in applications where there are moving parts. Best anti-wear properties are exhibited when used in conjunction with mating parts molded from Glastic® Grade 1412 materials. Has moderately high physical strengths combined with excellent electrical properties.
Glastic® 1603 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1603 is a multi-purpose, moderate strength, low-cost material that is suitable for injection, compression and transfer molding.
Glastic® 1605 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1605 is an excellent low-cost HB material with low shrink and medium strength. Has excellent surface finish and gloss. Can be injection, compression or transfer molded.
Glastic® 1608 Amérique du Nord
Grade 1608 is a very high-strength, general purpose, corrosion-resistant material. Recommended for compression molding only. UL® Recognized. Meets FDA requirements for food contact.
Glastic® SLC-1000 Amérique du Nord
Glastic® SLC-1000 is a medium strength, and low-cost glass-reinforced polyester compound with adjustable shrinkage. It is V-O flame arc and track resistant. UL® recognized.
