VERDANT PCRPT080 Series is an RPET (Recycle Polyethylene Terephthalate) produced from 100% post consumer PET beverage containers that are washed, ground into flakes, washed again, and decontaminated through a solid-state polycondensation and pelletizing process under conditions dictated by the Letter of Non-Objection (LNO) issued by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) to the O.E.M. of the de-contamination equipment. The LNO states that providing pcrPET is produced in accordance with the terms and conditions of the LNO, the FDA does not object to such pcrPET being used to manufacture plastic food packaging for applications where the food is in direct contact with the pcrPET package. This product is available in clear and green tints. The clear tint version is VERDANT PCRPT080, and the green tint version is VERDANT PCRPT080T.
