EpoxAcast™ 650 Black Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcast™ 650 and EpoxAcast™ 650 BLACK are mineral filled general purpose casting epoxies that are low cost and versatile. They feature a low mixed viscosity for minimal bubble entrapment. Choose Fast, Medium or Slow catalyst to fit your project. You can also use HT Hardener to give your castings higher heat resistance. EpoxAcast™ 650 and EpoxAcast™ 650 BLACK are used for making hard dies for metal stamping as well as patterns and fixtures. EpoxAcast™ 655 Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcast™ 655 (formerly Metalset™ A-30) is a versatile aluminum filled castable epoxy that is very hard and strong. It is dimensionally stable, even when mass cast up to 512 in3/ 8,390 cm3. Different hardener speed options are available depending on your project requirements. Maximum heat resistance is achieved using HT HIGH TEMP hardener (up to 225°F/108°C). Cured EpoxAcast™ 655 epoxy has high physical properties and is used for a variety of applications including making hard tooling, vacuum forming dies/molds, injection molds, foundry patterns, jigs and fixtures and metal forming dies. Depending on project requirements, Part A Base can be mixed with 101 FAST, 102 MEDIUM, 103 SLOW or HT HIGH TEMP hardeners.
EpoxAcast™ 670 HT Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcast™ 670 HT (formerly 20-136) is an epoxy casting compound which offers high heat resistance up to 350° F/177° C if post cure schedule is used. EpoxAcast™ 670 HT features a relatively low viscosity that ensures minimal bubble entrapment. EpoxAcast™ 670 HT also offers an extra long working time of 3 hours. Castings cure with negligible shrinkage and are very hard, very strong and heat resistant. EpoxAcast™ 670 HT is ideal for making vacuum form molds, foundry patterns, forming dies & fixtures, hard rollers, industrial parts and high impact tools. EpoxAcast™ 670 HT is also suitable for encapsulation applications or for use as a high temperature epoxy for bonding a variety of surfaces.
EpoxAcast™ 690 Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcast™ 690 and 692 Deep Pour are UV resistant clear casting epoxy resins suitable for a variety of industrial and art related projects requiring a rigid, clear finished casting. EpoxAcast™ 690 and 692 feature a very low viscosity for easy mixing and minimal bubble entrapment. Castings cure with negligible shrinkage and are very hard and strong. Resin can be colored with UVO™ or IGNITE™ colorants. Cast Magic™ and Glow Worm™ powders can also be added to create amazing casting effects. There are 2 ways to process these resins, using standard casting and fan-cooled casting techniques. Standard Casting - Using a standard casting method, EpoxAcast™ 690 has a maximum casting thickness of 3/8 in. (0.95 cm) while EpoxAcast™ 692 Deep Pour has a maximum casting thickness of 1 1/2” (3.81 cm). Material should be poured and cured at an ambient temperature of 70°F/21°C. Fan-Cooled Casting - To use a fan-cooled casting method, inexpensive box fans are placed near the curing epoxy to circulate air across the surface of the casting. This assists in cooling the material, allowing for thicker castings. Using a fancooled pouring method, EpoxAcast™ 690 has a maximum casting thickness of 3/4” (1.9 cm) while EpoxAcast™ 692 Deep Pour has a maximum casting thickness of 2” (5.08 cm). Material should be poured at an ambient temperature of 70°F/21°C.
EpoxAcast™ 692 Deep Pour Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcast™ 690 and 692 Deep Pour are UV resistant clear casting epoxy resins suitable for a variety of industrial and art related projects requiring a rigid, clear finished casting. EpoxAcoat™ HT Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcoat™ HT is a slightly thixotropic epoxy gel coat that offers high heat resistance to 284°F / 140°C (post cure required). Cured epoxy is tough and offers exceptional abrasion resistance. This surface coat will wet out well over a variety of surfaces with good sag resistance. Applications include laminating, precision tooling, master and pattern making, core boxes and fixtures. Use as a surface coat for EpoxAmite™ HT high temperature laminating epoxy.
EpoxAcoat™ Series Africa & Middle East
EpoxAcoat™ RED, GREY, WHITE and NEUTRAL are thixotropic epoxy gel coats which are widely used for hand laminating and tooling applications. They are tough and strong surface coat resins which cure at room temperature and offer exceptional abrasion resistance. EpoxAcoat™ NEUTRAL is formulated “color neutral” specifically for adding color pigments and fillers. For high temperature applications (to 284°F / 140°C) use EpoxAcoat HT™ (see separate technical bulletin). EpoxAcoat™ Surface Coat Epoxies are easy to use, wet out well over a variety of surfaces and will coat vertical surfaces without sagging. After the epoxy becomes “tacky-hard” at room temperature, fiberglass cloth is laminated behind the surface coat using Free Form™ AIR putty or EpoxAmite™ Laminating Epoxy to produce strong, lightweight tools that have excellent dimensional stability and surface finish. Cured surface machines precisely without chipping. Applications include precision tooling, master and pattern making, core boxes and fixtures.

EpoxAmite™ HT Africa & Middle East
EpoxAmite™ HT High Temperature Laminating Epoxy is a water clear, UV resistant laminating epoxy that resists high temperatures up to 300°F / 149°C when properly cured. Pot life is 1 hour and cure time is 24 hours at 73°F / 23°C (post cure required – see post cure schedule). Ultra-low viscosity ensures uniform wetting out and fast penetration of reinforcement materials during hand lay-up or vacuum infusion processes. Cured resin offers superior physical properties. EpoxAmite™ HT High Temp Laminating Epoxy can be used with S-Glass, E-Glass, Kevlar and carbon fibers for making composite tooling or parts. Applications include making high temperature pre-preg parts, bonding fixtures, vacuum form molds and prototype injection molds. Use as a backup laminating resin for EpoxAcoat™ HT high temperature surface coat epoxy.

EPSILON™ is a thixotropic epoxy coating that self thickens for brushing onto a variety of surfaces without sagging. Parts A and B mix together easily, and the mixture wets out uniformly. This product is not sensitive to moisture or humidity. EPSILON™ cures at room temperature to an impact resistant plastic which exhibits good compressive and flexural strength. EPSILON™ is color neutral, and cured material can be easily sanded, primed and painted. EPSILON™ is suitable for use as a protective, impact resistant coating for EPS or polyurethane foam. It can also be applied to plaster, concrete, wood and fabrics. This product is not sensitive to moisture or humidity and contains no VOC's.

EPSILON™ is a thixotropic epoxy coating that self thickens for brushing onto a variety of surfaces without sagging. Parts A and B mix together easily, and the mixture wets out uniformly. This product is not sensitive to moisture or humidity. EPSILON™ cures at room temperature to an impact resistant plastic which exhibits good compressive and flexural strength. EPSILON™ is color neutral, and cured material can be easily sanded, primed and painted. EPSILON™ is suitable for use as a protective, impact resistant coating for EPS or polyurethane foam. It can also be applied to plaster, concrete, wood and fabrics. This product is not sensitive to moisture or humidity and contains no VOC's.
Epsilon Pro Africa & Middle East
Epsilon™ PRO is a thixotropic epoxy coating that self-thickens for brushing onto a variety of surfaces. Compared to original Epsilon™, Epsilon™ PRO offers a longer working time and cured epoxy is semi-rigid, offering better impact resistance. Mix ratio for Epsilon™ PRO is 2A:1B by volume (100A:44B by weight). A gram scale is not needed to use this product. Applied in thin layers, mixed material holds a vertical surface without sagging or slumping. Material wets out uniformly over different surfaces. Pot life is 22 minutes, with a re-coat time of 3 hours. All layers should be allowed to cure for 16 hours at 73° F / 23° C and can be accelerated with mild heat. Epsilon™ PRO is clear and can be easily colored using SO-Strong™, Ignite™ or UVO™ colorants. Cured coating has a gloss finish and can be sanded, primed and painted. Applications: Epsilon™ PRO is suitable for use as a protective, impact resistant coating for EPS or polyurethane foam. It can also be applied to plaster, concrete, wood and fabrics. This product is not sensitive to moisture / humidity and contains no VOC's.
Metalset™ A4 Africa & Middle East
Metalset™ A4 is a powerful epoxy adhesive that has been used for years by all branches of the U.S. Military as well as every major airline and auto manufacturer in the world. Metalset™ A4 is used for hundreds of industrial bonding applications and offers excellent adhesion to porous or non-porous surfaces. It can be applied to vertical surfaces without sagging and cures overnight with negligible shrinking. Once cured, Metalset™ A4 offers good machining qualities (sanding, drilling, tapping), and resists alkalies, dilute acids and solvents. Applications include stopping leaks in pipes, valves and tanks (i.e. car gas tanks), bonding like and unlike surfaces, filling metal joints, dents, etc., anchoring bolts in wood, concrete, and repairing metal surfaces. Bell Spec - Metalset™ A4 meets all quality requirements and can be certified to Bell Spec 299-947-099 Rev. D (see reverse side for details)
Plasti-Paste™ EPOXY Africa & Middle East
Plasti-Paste™ EPOXY is an epoxy-based version of Smooth-On’s popular urethane Plasti-Paste™ products. It is a two component, fiber-filled epoxy designed for vertical surface application. Part A is a paste and Part B is a liquid. Mix ratio is 2A: 1B by volume or weight. Pot life is 40 minutes and cure time is 16 hours at room temperature depending on mass. Applying heat can reduce cure time. Mixed material holds a vertical surface without sagging and cures very rigid and strong. Plasti-Paste™ EPOXY offers some advantages over urethane Plasti-Paste™ products: 1. Material is not affected by moisture. 2. Material has a longer working time for applying over large areas. 3. Cured material is more rigid with less being required for making support shells/mother molds and 4. Higher heat resistance up (160°F / 71°C). Liquid material can be colored with UVO™ colorants and cured epoxy can be sanded, machined and painted with acrylic enamel paints. This plastic can used as a support shell or mother mold material to reinforce rubber molds during casting. It can also be used for creating themed environments, creating art or special effects. This epoxy is also a powerful adhesive and can be used as a repair material for a variety of industrial applications.
Smooth-On EA-40® Africa & Middle East
EA-40® Clear Amber Epoxy is an unfilled low-viscosity epoxy adhesive that can be spread easily in thin films that are almost transparent after curing. EA-40® has a long pot life and cures in 24 hours at room temperature to provide good mechanical and electrical properties. Mix ratio is 1:1 by volume. When mixed 2A:1B by volume, EA-40® will achieve greater heat resistance and improved physical properties. EA-40® is versatile and can be used for many different assembly and repair applications ranging from electrical potting to jewelry assembly to repairing plumbing fixtures. Bow makers have come to know EA-40® as a tremendous laminating resin. EA-40® provides highly moisture resistant bonds meeting the performance requirements for Federal Specification MMM-A-188, Type III.
Smooth-On Free Form™ AIR FAST Africa & Middle East
Free Form™ AIR FAST is an easy to use epoxy putty that cures in minutes to a hard, strong and extremely lightweight plastic. Parts A and B are dispensed in equal amounts and mixed by hand. Used at room temperature, working time is 6 minutes in a 60 gram mass (2 oz) and handling time is 30 minutes (tack-free, hard surface). Epoxy putty is easy to color with UVO™ color pigments. You can smooth, texture, sculpt, or stamp while epoxy putty is in its “green” state. Cured epoxy is lightweight enough to float in water and can be easily carved, sanded, tooled and painted for finishing. It is compatible with original Free Form™ AIR, Free Form™ AIR HT and Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe. Applications: Free Form™ AIR FAST is used for fast “rough shaping” projects, filling in voids and repair applications. Epoxy will bond to a variety of plastics (urethane, PVC, etc.) metals, wood, EPS foam, paper, ceramics, plaster, etc. It can be used for a variety of fast repair applications including marine repairs; it will cure under water. Epoxy Tooling - use as a filleting material or for jig/fixture construction. Laminating - Free Form™ AIR FAST putty in between layers of EpoxAmite™ Laminating Epoxy and fiberglass cloth, carbon or other fiber for making lightweight composite parts. - Thickness; 1/2” (1.27 cm) – pot life is 6 minutes, handling time is 30 minutes, full cure in 24 hours. - Thickness; 3/8” (0.95 cm) – pot life is 8 minutes, handling time is 45 minutes, full cure in 24 hours. - Thickness; 1/8” (0.32 cm) - pot life is 10 minutes; handling time is 2 hours, full cure in 24 hours.
Smooth-On Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe Africa & Middle East
Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe is a lightweight epoxy putty that certifies to the highest flame rating available (E84, Class A). This is a low odor, low shrinkage putty that is unique, inexpensive and easy to use. Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe is mixed by hand with a 1A:1B by volume mix ratio. It offers a long working time and cures overnight at room temperature to a rigid epoxy that is very strong. It can be sanded, shaped and drilled. It will readily accept any paint. Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe can also be color pigmented with UVO™ or Ignite™ colorants. Press Into a Mold - After mixing, Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe can be pressed into a mold to make a lightweight, detailed casting. Apply to Vertical Surfaces - Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe will hold vertical surfaces and can be applied to almost any surface including polystyrene foam for rough sculpting. Free Form™ AIR Fire Safe is suitable for interior/exterior theming applications and general sculpting and is used to make hyper-realistic trees, vines, rocks, and other display elements. Pot Life/Working Time; this material is mass sensitive. The more material you mix at one time, the less time you have to work with it. Working tip; If mixing a large quantity, flatten putty with a rolling pin to reduce mass concentration and extend pot life. - Thickness; 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) - pot life is 30 minutes, handling time is 2.5 hours, full cure in 24 hours. - Thickness; 3/8" (0.95 cm) - pot life is 60 minutes, handling time is 4 hours, full cure in 24 hours. - Thickness; 1/8" (0.32 cm) - pot life is 120 minutes; handling time is 8 hours, full cure in 24 hours.

Free Form™ AIR HT is a low density, lightweight epoxy putty that offers high temperature resistance to 300°F/149°C when cured at room temperature and 400°F/204°C when heat post cured. This is a low-odor, low shrinkage formula that is easy to use. Free Form™ AIR HT is mixed by hand with a 2A:1B by volume or weight mix ratio. It offers a long working time and cures overnight at room temperature to a hard, rigid epoxy that is very strong with modeling board-like properties. It can be sanded, shaped, drilled, tapped and CNC machined/routered. Epoxy Laminating; Laminate Free Form™ AIR HT putty in between layers of EpoxAmite™ HT Laminating Epoxy and fiberglass cloth, carbon or other fiber for making lightweight composite parts. Eliminates the need to make multiple layers of laminating with liquid epoxy; saves time and labor. Epoxy Tooling Applications – use as a filleting material. Also good for jig and fixture construction. Used as a lightweight adhesive, Free Form™ AIR HT will bond to itself and a variety of surfaces including wood, stone and EpoxAcoat™ HT surface coat epoxy. Pot Life/Working Time; this material is mass sensitive. The more material you mix at one time, the less time you have to work with it. Smooth-On Free Form™ Habitat™ Black Africa & Middle East
Free Form™ Habitat™ Black Epoxy Putty is a mix-by-hand putty that is used to create textured or highly detailed display pieces. Habitat™ Black is solvent-free and contains no VOC's. Working time is 60 minutes and cure time is 16 hours at room temperature (73°F/23°C). Epoxy cures to a very hard, heat resistant material that is easily painted. Use with Habitat™ Black Folding Powder - fold powder into epoxy putty to thicken and reduce sag when applied to a vertical surface. Folding Powder also reduces stickiness and makes the epoxy more handle-able. Habitat™ Black is suitable for interior and exterior use. It is certified ‘aquarium safe' and used by aquariums to create hyper-realistic coral and other aquarium displays. Habitat™ Black is also used for general sculpting and theming applications. Once putty is applied, it can be stamped with a silicone rubber stamp to create repeating patterns with intricate detail over a large surface area. Surface can be smoothed with alcohol or water. Free Form™ SCULPT is a two part sculpt-able epoxy clay that requires no firing and will self-cure in a short time to an extremely hard and durable state with virtually no shrinkage. SCULPT is 30% lighter than similar products and holds vertical surfaces better. Users can sculpt larger, stronger pieces with more control over weight distribution. Free Form SCULPT has an ultra fine particle size that gives the user the ability to sculpt finer detail with better precision using tools or shaping by hand. A mirror-like, gloss finish can be achieved by smoothing SCULPT with water before it cures. Maximum Usability - Just Add Water; you can change the consistency and workability of Free Form™ SCULPT by adding water when mixing A+B components.
